When Tim and John started talking about space travel as a part of the resurrection, all I could think was: "Finally! Someone else who gets that idea! Now I can tell people that I'm not TOTALLY crazy!" 😅
There's so much space beyond this planet. Exploring with these finite lives, bodies of less than a century, feels impossible, but then why did God create the innumerable stars? The heavens are a canvas of wonder, an awesome declaration of God's glory for each night, but what if they were made for more?
Dude! Me too! I asked my friends a few years ago if they wanted to travel the stars for a few millennia with me after we get a solid ship together. One laughed, the other said he would
The thing about Egypt is that long before it abused the Israelites, it abused its own people. Joseph’s solution was to gather food for the lean years. I think pharaoh chose to sale back the food to the people instead of giving it to them. He used the food to grab all the land and animals in his hand and made a nation of sharecroppers. Joseph says to his family I will take care of you. Two different families and mentalities that resulted in the foreigners being more prosperous than the Egyptians. Yes God blessed Israel but he didn’t curse Egypt. Pharaoh chose to walk the road of cursing by not being loving and generous to his own people. It’s this community mindset that the Jewish community still practices today of looking at each other as an extended family.
Yes it to co rule. We tend to receive his information but forget to be aware where that road of information from Him stops and you continue. Learn the difference when the LORD intervening stops and we begin.
When he said give everything. The person responded everything my father worked for. He didn't say what he worked for he said what his father worked for. He wanted to express one of the first things God requested. Name the animals and subdue the earth.
The problem with abundance makes one lose sight of The Kingdom, which ironically is not a place in space but "The way" of the place. Buy maybe it's more about the way that bring the Kingdom near. And I strongly feel that it's a feeling. The Kingdom is like being part of a awesome neighborhood operates. Where loving thy Lord and thy neighbor is the only feelings that exist. Cause I believe that love we feel for Jesus gets strong as The Kingdom nears.
re Johns question (first born / second born) -- god tells Rebekah there were two nations wresting in her womb God tells Abraham a son of his loins would be his heir, the son of the slave woman would not be heir with isaac the son of promise we have in this episode eve saying SHE made a man (in her flesh) Paul in the new testament says the flesh wars against the spirit he even uses the Abrahamic promise of an heir as an example to make his point the meaning is clear - flesh first, spirit second man's efforts fail, the spirit succeeds first darkness, then God speaks light into the darkness the first Adam brings death, second Adam became a life giving spirit do i need to go on?
My thoughts: there are huckleberries everywhere! Open your eyes and see. The Hebrews were not exiled into Egypt, they chose to go there. Make God your king and live in the kingdom!
And what is not enough should be a "other centered way". If there was a way to prioritize what not enough for others at the top of the food chain would change the world in such a profound way. That I feel when that happens an angel might yell. I think they got it.
That mindset is natural in all creation. It is why animals fight for territory or mates, & how mates are chosen It is why we naturally have 'fear' or survival instincts. There isn't 'enough,' because prosperity happens in pockets & so do disasters. Competition keeps populations balanced & there is nothing pretty about it. The beauty of nature is a visual concept... The reality is that one creature's success comes at the cost of another's failing or death. In science there are three types of relationships in symbiotic - mutual, win -win: parasitic, win-loose: neutral, commensualism - win- no harm-no benefit. It is the natural order. What God proposes is that we move past our human nature (animal) & think eden style.. but it goes against what we instinctively know.
Bring it back though. Bring it back. Fill the Universe with a delicious apple in its belly. But I see why the context went to space exploration. AI. has changed how we explore information. Again it's bringing the universe to us in the form of closing the loop creating a rationality in the mind.
Farming... Tim. You are stalking me. I sooo understand that. Because I what I want to leave Oliver something that isn't centered around human definition of success but something that requires the ability to perpetuate the meaning of giving. A Non-profit Organization that is designed to perpetuate giving. And what better system is buying land and farm. Subdue the Earth. And run a farm that grows apples. The feeling of putting time and effort in growing food and waiting for that apple to get the red juicy look, and picking it and handing it to someone who is hungry I feel echo Jesus requesting us to love thy neighbor.

Wow. So rich. I have to take a break for a bit and digest. I will revisit later and continue my note-taking. Delightful,God!
So many cool new ideas in this is one episode. Really enjoyed it.
Jesus lives! ♥️ and is Yahweh God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑

There is a difference between a slave and a servant. To slave is not to serve in way the LORD directed.
You guys are awesome. I love this series!
This was a good one.
We know how this ends if we don't live generously...

re Johns question (first born / second born) -- god tells Rebekah there were two nations wresting in her womb
God tells Abraham a son of his loins would be his heir, the son of the slave woman would not be heir with isaac the son of promise
we have in this episode eve saying SHE made a man (in her flesh)
Paul in the new testament says the flesh wars against the spirit
he even uses the Abrahamic promise of an heir as an example to make his point
the meaning is clear - flesh first, spirit second
man's efforts fail, the spirit succeeds
first darkness, then God speaks light into the darkness
the first Adam brings death, second Adam became a life giving spirit
do i need to go on?
My thoughts: there are huckleberries everywhere! Open your eyes and see.
The Hebrews were not exiled into Egypt, they chose to go there.
Make God your king and live in the kingdom!
Thank you both so much for this clarification regarding this topic 🙏🏽
Thank you. Love.

They see not enough. What if the increase in storms will dump more water on the land. Cause God said let there be light.
