I tried this with gta online and call of duty black ops 2 and it perfectly works on my series x and my sister's series s. I can play up to 4 players in split screen games which the maximum is only 2 players... I was only confused how to set it up, fortunately i fixed it... Thanks so much

I couldn't figure out how to be able to play my other games on my other account it was like that before but I had to do a factor reset on my Xbox and cleared everything except my games and emails the only way that I could play them on my other account is if I download them on that account to but most of my games cost money and I wasn't going to spend money on the same game that I already spent money on before and waste more storage on the same game

I have 2 questions:
1. If you are using ONE xbox (xbox one s) with MULTIPLE accounts on it will ALL the accounts share the SAME PROGRESS on all the games that are on it if the xbox is set to "home xbox"?
Or will each account have to start every game that's on the console from scratch?
2. If you have an xbox set as "home xbox" but then later you want to make a DIFFERENT xbox your home xbox do you have to actually go in to the settings on your original home xbox and uncheck/UNset that option there?
Or can you just login to your account from any xbox an change it?

Yeah me and my brother plays at the same time. You both have to have separate Xbox accounts though

Ya I agree, I'm new to Xbox and with ps4, I can make 2 ps accounts and I can sign in and download a diff game from each and play it with no issues.

When setting up a new Xbox if I log in to my account first will it make it automatically my home Xbox ?
Yes. Once you get done setting up your new Xbox you will need to start the process of game sharing.

Her xbox : sign onto your gamer tag and make your account say home xbox and then sign out and sign her back in.
Your xbox : sign her account in and make it say home xbox and then sign out and sign your account back on

No it won’t change. If they buy a game you have to go into your games and then download it from the list of games in your library

Once you make his Xbox your home Xbox from his account. You can sign out and back into your account. Have him do the exact same thing and when he is done he can sign out of your account and sign back into his account then you both will be good to go

I have a series X. My wife has a one S. I downloaded my profile onto my wife’s xbox. Made her console “my home xbox.” I then signed out. I went back to my xbox and simply just downloaded my profile.
Her and I both tried to play borderlands. Because her xbox is “my home xbox” that should give her gold property from my account, right?? But every time her and I try to play it tells her that she needs gold… am I missing by something??

That’s not stupid. You can buy it on yours and she will get it also. Whoever buys a game the other person gets it also. Now if you guys ever stop games sharing the you won’t get to play the ones she bought and she won’t get to play the games you bought
