I did come afterwards, but not because of the horn but because I'm catching up on all podcasts they did.

I love how as soon as Skizz' drum sticks hit the pad hes immediately dead serious and nothing else seems to exist for those few seconds.
That shows both his passion for the drums and his determination to nail what he is about to do. Nothing else matters. Mouth on fire, I’m drumming, house on fire, I’m drumming! He does not care he is drumming and he is drumming his best regardless. He is at peace.

I can't get over how stoic Impulse managed to be. Skizz was obviously suffering but Impulse stayed so strong up until the last dab. Those swears were completely justified. More Culver's milkshakes to you both for this insane challenge.

Nothing makes people I enjoy watching more relatable and real than an occasional F bomb and S bomb. Because life isn't all roses and vanilla... It sometimes is a well-used unventilated porta-potty in 100°F/99% humidity when you have the runs.
Impulses face cracked me up. Im sitting here tears coming down with laughter. 😂

Impulse was really into this episode.... Skizz.... Not so much! The dynamic was different, Skizz gave the impression of a dad or big brother supporting his kids /little brother's Idea! Love it!
To give credit where credit is due, I want to thank impulse specifically for bringing us an episode that managed to teeter on the edge of family-friendly
I think Ms impulses was mad at both of you when she did it as pay back.
The Academy Award goes to Impulse, playing down the pain. Skizz will receive a Purpur Heart for taking one for the team and his suffering both on and off the video.
30:58 is quite possibly my favorite moment of any podcast so far. It was so cool to see Skizz drop into drumming mode and just completely ascend above any uncomfort he was feeling. Great episode!

You guys are crazy... But honestly seeing Skizz go through that even though he clearly did not want to was incredible. He wanted to support Impulse more than he didn't want to eat those hot sauce covered chicken bites. That's some intense friendship.
Confession: I have watched all of Skiz' phasmo stream uploads at least 3 times. Each. I laugh everytime! He's so damn funny 😭

When Impulse asked Skizz his favorite podcast, I was thinking that I'd exclude the interview podcasts, and then Skizz said that exact same thing. Even when they are battling for bated breaths, they are still full of wisdom. There's a reason this podcast has made it this far and a reason that it will keep growing.

I love spicy. I grew up eating hot food. I love seeing other people enjoying spicy stuff. But you have to draw the line when hot is just hot for hot's sake. There needs to be flavor and fun....not just "why would you put this shit on anything?!" as Skizz so eloquently pointed out 😂

Sorry guys, but this was legitimately one of the best episodes! Not the you-hurting-part ofc, but there have been good questions, nice conversations, Skizz's cussing just ist the besty closely followed by Impulse's face and neck in neck with Skizz showing off his drumming skills ( geez I love it when drummers are flipping their drum sticks, it's always so skillful and literally AWE -some to watch!!) ... and I like how Impulse's talking speed is increasing towards the end of the video ^^' Also he had an absolute pokerface while eating every bite! Really brave and cool!
And I'm so sorry for Skizz, it almost hurt me to watch him getting uneasy and fidgety. True sympathy from me, dude! I'm proud of you (both) for sticking to it till the end but I wish you'd never do that again... and then I find the stream including Tango... why??? Why did you undertake that again?? I'm feeling so sorry for you already! ^^' Love u guys!

Skizz!!! No water!!! It spreads the capsaicin and makes the burn much worse. Dairy products, especially milk and ice cream, absorb the heat. Loved the episode. I want to try it myself someday.
I’ve been watching hot sauce/ carolina reaper content for the past couple years. This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the podcast.
Listened to it on the way to work earlier this morning but knew I had to watch the suffering

Every time it was time for them to take another bite, my kids and I would say, "eat the FOOD!!" in our best imitation of Skizz when playing PlateUp with Tango.
i’ve been watching many different podcasts a lot recently. i can confidently say, when the podcast consists of two men, they will resemble Bert & Ernie in some way. Imp and Skizz is no exception.
"If you're into snot"- I am literally dying of laughter. The little philosophical "Uh ohs" from Impulse.... awwwww!! This was so much fun, but also, I understand some of the regret you feel....I'm very proud of you two, this is an intense challenge. I hope you didn't have any too horrible after-effects.
It always makes me smile when Impulse mentions having been in drum corps. I wasn't in one myself, but I did marching band through high school, starting out in the flute line, then moving to color guard (and winterguard) when I got bored of marching in lines. And one of my best memories of it was when our color guard got trained by the guard of one of our local drum corps, the Santa Clara Vanguard. It was so fun to try to learn flag, rifle and saber techniques while fangirling over one of the best drum corps in the country.

Yeah boy! Bass Drummer for Marching Band...
I was 3rd Bass (2nd largest, smallest is 1st Bass) but also Section Leader for Bass, basically Assistant Section Leader over the whole Drum Line just behind Snare Leader... it was so much fun and teaching a Baritone player, Clarinet player, and French Horn player how to play Bass during Marching Season was a really fun challenge. Im was blessed with highly talented and quick learning individuals. So much so that my Junior and Senior years we had the best Drum Line our Band Teacher had ever seen in her 45 years of teaching, she retired after 48 years. Even her Assistant Director (at the time he has 3-4 years on the job and 15 years later he admitted to a few of my classes band mates that we were hands down the best Drum Line he had seen in his 18-19 years teaching. He even said that the band as a whole my Senior year was also the best he had ever seen and that the head director also agreed, she still going to school concerts/football games/competitions nearly 20 years after retiring so shes kept up on the quality of the band.
I miss those days. Id love to get into a weekend warrior drum line but thoae dudes are freaking insane and i was never near their "pro/semi-pro levels. I still love checking them out local corpes from time to time.

I loved the last dab because it helped bring you two down to "normal" people. You bleeped it, but it showed that you guys are humans that have thoughts and feelings that aren't always "family friendly." I had the last dab 4-5 years ago, before it was Apollo. And it is pure pain for no reason. Well done!
Poor Skizz I didn't think he was going to make it! Impulse didn't look like was even a thing until the last two! Congrats on a full year of content...can't wait for the next year. The two of you are amazing!

Hot Ones is one of my favorite series on RUclips and I absolutely love that yall did this. I've always wanted to try it myself, but I know my heat tolerance. I would probably literally die.
But it's always good to push yourself. It may hurt at first, but trying to "one up" your tolerance helps you get over the really hot ones (puns intended definitely) and plus, you only really want to do it once. Once you do it, you don't have to keep doing it... unless you're Sean Evans of course.
What a fantastic ride! Thank you for an amazing 52 episodes and I know we'll all be here for that 5 year episode as well!
