Man I love you teaching methods and videos. Keep allllllllll of the good teaching coming. Thank you so very much from allllllllll of us who wanna have fun playing our horns 🎷 😀 💯👌🏾👍🏾
Happy Sunday Jamie, great as always, warming up Christmas, lovely theme. I am going to practice this on my new Tenor that I received the day before yesterday, I start with it, I hope to pick up the rhythm in a short time Until now I only played Alto. Thanks as always, a hug.
Love the tune so thanks Jamie. I'm finding it hard to keep up with playing along with backing track at speed without the actual sheet music showing on your screen as you usually put up rather than just notes but may be just me so I'll keep practising ! You are such an inspiration
Hello, from Puerto Rico. There’s a saying that goes “those who can’t do;teach” and you prove time and again that you can do both . Have a great Christmas you and your family. You’re the best.
Hi Jamie! This is awesome! This will be my very first saxy Christmas! ❤️ I've also been learning your holiday songs from last year, I love the quality backing tracks, so much fun to play along with. Thank so you much for all the work into making these fantastic videos! Would love to see your tutorial of Let it snow, let it snow this year if possible 😄
Lovely play and great articulation as usual Jamie. Wonderful X'mas Song. Hats off to you. Thanks so much. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Greeting from Singapore......💜🎷🧡
Jamie, Thank you for this lesson, music, and backing track! I really like the style in which you play this. I tend to blow my notes straight on - meaning that the note is meant to be in tune immediately. I use grace notes for the flare. It sounds like you blow many of your notes with a slight bend (which sounds terrific to me!). Would you say that this is an intentional choice for specific notes or your personal style in general? Do you have any advice for learning to execute that type of articulation on the fly without preplanning it? (I already understand technically how to bend notes). e.g. should I just do some scale drills where each note is played with a bend? Thanks, Jamie - I really appreciate all the amazing free lessons. Finding your new video email every Sunday is a great way to start the week!!
Aw, thanks Terry! This topic is covered a bit in this video ruclips.net/video/oq0XJn9qw_4/видео.html but you say you already know how to "do it". Yes, it's intentional. In terms of learning how to do it "naturally" the best thing you can do is transcribe a bunch of solos by great players, then it seeps in on its own. J:-)
7:36-7:39 sounds a bit one of the songs you`ve shown us before but I do not get, which song is that. full of energy I remember. :( maybe it was few weeks ago
Start slow. Practice the hard bits first. Use a metronome. Come back to it many times, but not a lot in one session, gradually speed it up. Be patient!

You are very welcome
Thank you!
Merry Christmas in July!
great!
👍🏻
Sorry Jamie, any advice not to make mistakes in the tenor practice?
Start slow. Practice the hard bits first. Use a metronome. Come back to it many times, but not a lot in one session, gradually speed it up. Be patient!
Hi do u have tik tok??
But great video!!☺☺
No tik tok. My teenage daughter would cringe too much! lol
❤️❤️❤️
Yup. Nice one!
Can someone please tell me the notes for the impro part for Alto?
Doesn’t it say on the video?
@@GetYourSaxTogether I was thinking of your impro, because that sounds amazing. When I’m using the notes to do impro I just sounds horrible
