I love this G-Shock model. Got the carborn fiber bezel version and returned it because it wasn't that legible at a glance. But the fit is amazing because of the size and design. I'm going to get the gold and black version now. When you've liked G-Shock watches since the 1980s, at this age you'll be into the steel versions.,

I have the green B400 and only have one small problem and that's the digital display being a touch too small, I still love it though. I have a B300 as well and the display is much easier to read but being a little chunkier is not as comfortable as the B400.
Yes the display is small. I had the b200 before selling it to get this one and do like the display better in the 200 but like the overall feel and look of the 400.

I like them both for different reasons but I wear my protrek the most out of all my watches. It's got the best lume.. the contrasting face is fantastic and is easy to read and it's got a versatile look to it. And it's got a ton of functions in you need them.
@hocinelahmar7986 the 400 is smaller and lighter than the 100 in every dimension. 46.6 × 49.6 × 12.9 mm with weight of 80g..the 100 is 58.1 × 53.8 × 14.1 mm at 101g.
I found the B100 too bulky and big, the B200 better but on rubber didnt fit right for me (bracelet was good though), I've now ordered the B300 but will probably also pick up the B400 on bracelet or band. Dont understand why none of these come with Multiband though, as i far prefer it to bluetooth
Do you know if it’s possible to swap the band out for the type on the ‘fitness’ G Shocks, i.e., the ones with way more holes/slits? I am ALWAYS between holes on my resin band G’s!! 😫

Got the b400 today and what I really don't like is you can't see the seconds or date digital displays unless you press the light really sad about this they are so dark it's ridiculous so be warned....

I bought a used GST-B400 but I like the B200 more. It feels like the B200 was a high point if you don't mind me saying so. It had a second hand and was, in my opinion, more attractive. The STN display on the B200 seems much more easily read that the non-STN (?) displays on the B400, particularly the one at 6 O'clock. I also really like the rose gold and navy blue version. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.
Yeah no problem..the b200 is an awesome watch and I would love to have kept it also but I not needed to but wanted the $ by selling it to pay for the b400. Yes the big digital display is far superior on the 200 but I guess since both watches are ana-digital watches I look at the hands more for the 400 series. Two other things I didn't mention is that I didn't like the crown on the 200. It was huge and just served as a button and on the b400 the functions are integrated in the C button and they took away the crown. I also noticed that if I don't wear my 200 that much and it sits in my watch case the battery goes from Hi to medium and I have to leave it the sun a lot to bring it to Hi. I know that's not a huge deal and not picky..kind of ocd myself in keeping watches at Hi.it is something I just noticed.My other tough solar g-shocks including this b400 stays at Hi even if I haven't worn it in a week. I think it has to do with no second hand which I don't mind but I know some people like you don't like it. thanks for watching and commenting!
I'm greatly Disappointed in the design with this watch. The digital readout is difficult to see, that little razor wheel is pointless and clutters the face, for some reason the light is at the 5 o'clock position so it only lights up part of the face, no auto light, and the "find my phone" feature is only good for up to 10'. For me, this is unacceptable for a watch that retails at $320. I returned mine within a week.

I like them both for different reasons but I wear my protrek the most out of all my watches. It's got the best lume.. the contrasting face is fantastic and is easy to read and it's got a versatile look to it. And it's got a ton of functions in you need them.

I don't think so because the way it's shaped with the resin square bump in the middle but the band is very comfortable that comes with it!
