B 100 it's one *fully analogue* G Shock... if anyone know other models... name them
Fully analogue model with subdials are usually more expensive than analogue-digital due to more motors required to drive the subdials. In contrast, an LCD display costs less than the extra motors and mechanism.
Lighter, smaller, less material, more competitive. A smart move from Casio in my opinion,

You forgot to mention the GPS capability with back tracking
After checking out these two watches and the newest GST B300, I bought the B200. I like ana-digis better than full analog or full digital watches. Besides, the B200's bezel design is cleaner (4, tri-lobe screws vs 6 hardware store looking, screws on the B100 and B300) and is slightly smaller than the B100.
Design-wise GST B100, there is no comparison. I am a proud owner of GST B100 and deeply love with this watch.
The 100 is just beautiful. It can be easily be mistaken for classic high dollar dive watches .

In the end it all comes down to preference. I bought a gstb100 used and I absolutely love the fact that it doesn’t have lcd screens.
If I had went with the b200 I would still be happy but I much prefer the b100 for its design
I picked the GTS-100GB and never have regretted of it, since I love the dual time feature.

I find the B200 far better in terms of design but Casio can improve the B200 even more to make it the perfect watch... Three new color variants introduced for more choices, the resin band is lighter than the steel band.... Great review bro....

I have the GSTB100. Was checking it out on and off all of 2019. Saw a good deal and picked it up. It was between the 100 and its other version with the steel wrist band. This one won out. Love the 100. Looks awesome on the wrist. 👍
Jose Ramos Sometimes it’s worth waiting for the perfect deal! Some people prefer the resin over steel bands. For comfort and weight. Do you own any other Gs?
@@GiShockGo I own an all-black GW2310 Atomic Solar and a G-Shock GAS100-1A Sport Watch. Got them in 2018. They look nothing like the G-Steel. 😍 Yes, waiting could be anxious but I got a great deal the week AFTER Black Friday! Wasn't going to wait anymore! 👍

The B200 has auto light (just raise your arm and it turns on when it's dark) the B100 doesn't.... did you mention that? Maybe I missed it. I love the B200 because of the digital display and the cleaner design. But I like the size of the case better on the B100. #CasioB200

While I will agree with you that the turbine battery level indictor is confusing, in your video you pressed the "D" button and not the "B" button, which is the button indicated in the manual to press to view battery level. Still somewhat confusing, but in your video it doesn't even show the battery level as you mistakenly pressed the wrong (B) button. I believe you also need to do the battery check in timekeeping mode, not stopwatch mode.
Nice review of both watches! I currently own the B100, and I'm waiting for delivery today of the B200... prefer both of these over the newer B300 model, but that's really a matter of personal preference. Any of them give you great functionality in a very beautiful design!

i have b100 and bought the b200 but the carbon underneath b200 is not black, it looks dirty ... and killed the look of b200
honestly the b100 gets the attention ITS THE TANK!
Couldn't decide and ended up buying both.
You can't beat the gstb100 in looks. With its chronograph dials and full analog display it resembles the high end mtg to some extend.
The gstb200 has more functions though, which are super easy to access through the huge digital display and big buttons.
As mentioned below; the gstb100 lacks the auto light and hourly beep.
In the end, you can't go wrong with either of these.

You can disconnect the watch from your app. Once disconnected the Bluetooth is turned off. Cheers
On the GSTB200 I would have liked the light to fade smoothly and not at once other thing that I would have liked is that the cristal sphere had been of sapphire. The watch has a pretty nice design.

I have just Purchased the casio GST B100D with the stainless steel wrist strap and the first thoughts about the watch are you get a real premium feel about it and i have had a few compliments about the watch as well i think the watch is Beautiful And worth every penny And It Is so easy to set up marks out of 10 i would give a 9.And I Purchased the watch after watching this video so a big thank you for Creating this video and big thumbs up👍

Had this watch about 7 months. My main gripe is the alarm configuration. Why did Casio design a useless schedule alarm. Eg. You can't set it to weekdays only. Glad to hear other views.
Duppy King yeah I see what you mean. It’s all or nothing with the alarms. I think we’re so spoiled with our smart phones and smart watches. Great point though. Thanks for commenting
@@GiShockGo Japanese are great engineers, but I failed to immediately see a use case. Think you may have to set a schedule for 5 alarms on different days to get basic functionality. Also alarm could be louder. BTW do you know if the straps are changeable? Asked but no info yet.

Have a 100 since it appeared and weared it and abused it constantly... it's one *fully analogue* G Shock which makes it.. *special* Still get a lot of weekly compliments each time I wear it. It's one... elegant and resilient watch.

how can I see which month it is on the b100? I have it and love it but I think it only shows what weekday and day of the month it is

These are beautiful looking watches. Might be too good looking for their own good IMO. The glass face level with the bezel sure doesn't sound like a good feature if rugged is truly a priority. Do you really want to bash this thing up climbing a mountain? All the effort put into G-shock technology etc. and basically you are going to want to treat this watch like a $20,000 rolex when you wear it anywhere or at least that's how I would feel! Climb mountains with the rubber padded Abrams tank like the Rangemaster instead!
Nice watch but Casio says it's waterproof to 200m and then they say but not suitable for scuba diving. So, it's not waterproof to 200m!
It’s a great looking watch and quite functional even with mineral glass. This is NOT the watch that you want to be down in the mud with. This is a dressy G shock that you want to go out with.
Based on your experience as the owner of both the 100 and 200, which would you choose as your daily driver and which would you keep pristine for those special occasions? Let's pretend your daily driver will cop a lot more then it's fair share of abuse so durability must come into the equation..
Ghe 100 is gorgeous. The 200 looks like a ladies version next to the 100.

I dont like Gs mixing analog and digi functions (except GA100). So I prefer B100 to any other GST.

The propeller design on B100 is a deal breaker for me so I went for B200 instead and never regret it.
