I recently added a 5610U to my collection and put the adapters and a green expandable nylon strap on it. I like it but this is next level... may have to source another just to do this! Looks fantastic!
They are a very good kit. That looks great. I did one on a GW-B5600. The one with the red LCD display. With the red it looks fantastic. Thanks for the video.
I don’t know, I bought one of these kits for my 5610u and the metal bezel/case didn’t slip on as easy as yours did. I actually had to push fairly hard and it wasn’t quite right so I couldn’t use it.
Ideally not. The water resistance has to do with the case back and button gaskets. The case mods only change the top half of the case and bracelet, so WR should be fine.
@@simplewatchtalks Yeah fair, how does it feel compared to the resin strap. Also do you reckon this is worth 140AUD because that's how much it costs in my country
With the metal bracelet mod, the watch feels more rugged and heavy (in a good way), but I like to wear the watch in my sleep, so I removed it as it’s less “sleep friendly “ if that makes any sense. If it’s the metal one, 140 AUD is too much I would say, if it’s titanium, then it’s a good price.
When adjusting the links, are there other parts than the thick springbars? I shortened mine with one link, and three tiny parts fell out in addition to the springbar. It looked like two small springbar ends and a small spring.

Thanks for sharing, I am happy to hear that!
Looks absolutely fantastic. Future gshock vibes
It really does, total transformation!
I love it but the band is a bit too busy with lettering for me. Love the look of the Mod tho
I am sure you can find similar mods without any text on them. Thanks for chiming in!
Thanks, very cool. Might get one for myself.
I am glad you liked it!
My wife just said: Is that Max verstappen in that video?
Haha I’ve never got that before! Your wife is being too kind, my voice is way more annoying that Verstappen’s..
Good video. Straight to the point
Thank you!

That’s strange. I think it’s a qc or tolerance issue out of the factory.
How about the shock resistance ? I heard when you change it from the original case it will lose the shock resist ability.
That's interesting, while I didn't test shock resistance, I think the metal case gives more protection than the stock resin case.
"This kit comes with everything you need..."
2 seconds later
"You're going to need a strap removal tool, they don't supply it."
Yes, what a strange thing to see, someone making a mistake and immediately correcting it.
Does this affect the water resistance?
Ideally not. The water resistance has to do with the case back and button gaskets. The case mods only change the top half of the case and bracelet, so WR should be fine.

@@simplewatchtalks So which one do you use to sleep?
@@Skaboom1 With the original rubber case and strap.

It should be one piece, I think yours broke or something
Супер!😉, заказал себе такой же только из титана 💪🔥👍
That's great, I hope you enjoy it!
What are the dimensions of the watch after the mod?
47mm x 43mm x 11mm
Can you use the original band or will it not fit or not line up? Thanks
I haven't tried it, but I don't think so. I also don't think it would look good.
I'll buy this mod if my G-shock strap is broken
Those straps are built to last, so it will take a while…
I recently picked up this same exact kit, but the case is a little loose and rattles? Is that normal?
That’s not normal on any compatible watch. I only tested it on the GWM5610U, and it is perfectly sized.
@simplewatchtalks I'm wondering if they sent me the dw5600 kit.
I have the same problem
did you find any solution?
Thank you in advance.
@retropixelux No. I ended up returning it and happily wearing my stock Gshock
