@@katt_reviews Microing is actually pretty difficult under certain circumstances. Microing in THIS playthrough seemed especially difficult since he played with a Germany that had less than 50 factories, was 19% away from capping, and only had 110 divisions.

Obviously you did great to save this game BitterSteel, but can we just take a moment to appreciate how competent the Italians were? Joining th Axis and the War despite Germany (seemingly) being on its last legs, not getting naval invaded like it usually does, pushing into France and diverting their troops, invading Yugoslavia successfully to link up with you, even helping save a few of your infantry that were encircled in the Alps. Never thought I'd say this unironically but well done Mussolini, you were a great ally.
Imagine being a German paratrooper in 1939. It looks like the war is going to be over before it even starts properly. And then some guy you haven’t seen before takes away your parachute and gives you more guns and says “Congratulations! You’re now an infantry unit!”
I think there’s a reason we don’t watch people who do nothing but wine in every single video. It’s pretty sad to play games for a living and not try to enjoy it.
Because this really isn’t a terribly hard disaster save, the only reason why it got this bad is because of harsh restrictions that bittersteel decided not to follow and he really only had weak enemies in mainland Europe
Germany is just ridiculusly powerful. The other day I had lenghty war with them, in 1945 they had about 20 mil casualties and still were able to push me a bit out of France.
had a game as communist china where germany in 1946/1947 had around 30k fighters.. if it wasnt for the "Sun Tzu Reborn" achievement, I wouldn't have bothered with germany but.. you gotta do what you gotta do *shrug*
I think that overall most disaster saves aren't too difficult, usually you can leave one side on the defensive and attack on the other and the AI doesn't have the intelligence to spearhead an attack on a weak point as opposed to just attacking the whole front then losing org, then it just becomes a victory lap going around nations and capping them which is entertaining sure but still pretty easy
Yeah it's a shame the AI isn't a little bit better tbh. Would make the game a lot more interesting after the first couple play throughs once you get the hang of it

I think it'd be interesting and fun if you tried uniting China in Kaiserreich but with a twist! You have do it as the Kumul Khanate (that little country in Xinjiang) and do the Ma Zhongying path
I don't think anyone will see this but there is a better way to naval invade the British. Instead of using any German ports you use the Dutch one at the top of Netherlands (Leeuwarden) because for some reason the game will think the only sea you need to control is the North sea this will allow to focus your navy solely in the North Sea tiles. Hope this helps you or anyone who sees this.

Oh btw, since you complained releasing Ukraine messed up your frontlines, sometimes when frontlines are split like that (due to releasing puppets), if you drag the two frontline starting points back together, they should join back into one single frontline order.
I have no patience for this game. So this fascinates me. Every time USA joins before I can knock out the UK I just abandon this game for like half a year and go do something else.

I mean I just went with Germany. And accidentally went to war against allies. Yes. Accidentally. Having *everything* on my eastern border. And as I have started to do Auschluss etc at speed, I had a *lot* of under-equipped forces. France got over Reims before I even noticed. Yeah, I got them pretty fast. Now I'm in US, ruling over much of the world even before molotov-ribbentrop. Need to get USA and I try to do that before war with the soviets... currently I can handle 48 divisions from scratch fully equipped by the time the training goes through, so I dunno. Might be interesting eh :D
When he said count cristo sent this I was like, how tf can bittersteel salvage a game that count cristo couldn't. i'm not saying that bittersteel id a bad player, he's in fact an amazing player but, I dont think he could beat the guy who beated endieg and raganrok in a singleplayer game. Then it made sense.

I go to the recruit and deploy and select troops and deploy them to selected areas but they’re not appearing or getting into my general’s divisions. Can someone tell me what am i doing wrong

It's because Germany is super strong in 1939 this guy restricted himself too much without knowing how to do his restrictions effectively.
