Schneider Trophy Replica & The 'Dawn Of British Aviation' | Antiques Roadshow

All valuations were correct at the time of broadcast. This lady's father was a pioneer test pilot, involved in army experiments just as British aviation was starting to get off the ground around 1910. This scrapbook includes some wonderful photographs from the time, plus a replica of the Schneider Trophy from the international sea plane race. Hugh Scully and the experts from Antiques Roadshow take a look at some fantastic antiques and the history and stories surrounding them. This clip was filmed in the Isle of Man in 2000.

Sometimes when I see a collection, I think, how can it be that valuable, when i saw this one, i was thinking, how can it be worth that little.
