TFP = Time for prints/photos ;)... Thats at least what most people know it by, and it makes more sense: you both spend your TIME and get both the PRINTS / PHOTOS. It *can* be a TEST, but doesn't have to be ;)... Great pictures. Always interesting to accompany other photographers on their shootings :)...
I used to do this on a daily basis, but suddenly life hit me in the face real hard, three mayor events happen, and knocked me down. Since, I've found it very hard to find the motivation, drive and essence of myself that enjoyed photography. But these are beautiful photos!
I just got a 50mm f1.4 for my Sony A100. This camera stayed in my closet for 10+ years because the photos were awful. Come to find out the camera is wonderful and I didn't know how to use it. Your channel has got me moving in the right direction. I am shocked with the photos I'm shooting. My new lens is amazing!!! Love your content and your awesome smile~
Starting out as a new photographer I’m always chasing to copy you and Mike’s styles either with gear or what to shoot. Your final message kind of helps me with just picking up my camera and taking pictures. No need to complicate things.
Ahh so glad to hear that! You’re right, it all comes down to picking up your camera and getting out there. Even if you don’t end up editing the photos, the process itself is motivating and inspiring 😇
Pfffff increíble, las fotos, el vlog ,el cómo llevas el video es genial, todo tu contenido me gusta, y como profesional de la fotografía que eres. Realmente increible. 🙌🏽
damn this was a great shoot! i have been sitting on a Sony A7III for literally over a year now its my first camera i got a crazy good deal on it but unfortunatley it was only the body, i have been wanting more than anything to be able to afford a lens finally!! i wanna start shooting and recording and using this camera sooo badly! but thanks Faye! it videos like these that just keep that spark in me and keeping me looking forward to finally having the ability to afford me a quality 24-70mm or something
Amazing video again! WOW. How often do you show the shots to the model on location? I always know the result after editing will be good and the model will be satisfied with them but I don't have confidence in showing the shots on the location 😁
Hey! I show the photos at least a couple times. It really helps with improving your photoshoot. The model knows what she looks like in the photos, and if she can improve in any of her poses. Personally it motivates me when I see the photos and share them. Sometimes getting feedback comes a long way. I get that it can be confronting. But it’s worth giving it a try. You’d be surprised! 😊
Amazing shoot Faye ! Also u look like Margot Robbie a bit also the pro mist filter really accentuates the face and especially the hair and eyes plus the black and whites looks like something vogue would shoot for its cover page beautiful as always. ❤❤❤

Nice Video, i set my Moodboard as the first photo on the cam. So especially at weddings, i can Look throuh the pics and with on click to the right im at the first pic, the moodboard. LG 😁✌️
looks like i would need to travel across the world to get a model :) here, time for photos doesnt really work :) great shots as always! love the ones in a furry coat! model rocks!
It's better not to do it anyways. If you place no value on your work and your time, no one else will either. Dont give your work and your time away for free.
That's why I love artistic nude shoots. Not a lot of garderobe involved :))) When it comes to the outfit, I let the model decide what she likes best to wear. If she comes with multiple outfits, we choose on the spot, and usually, I lean picking those that she likes the best so she is happy and relaxed. As make-up I prefer light, everyday going out to buy bread kind of stuff. About moodboards, well, what can I say, I rarely use them. If I use them, is more like messages back and forth with the model before the shoot, like what I would aim for. But most of the time I rely on the inspiration of the moment. I forced myself since I started photography to shoot in any light and any location. Btw, I rarely shoot twice in the same location. And this exercise helps me find the ideas on the spot.
Couple years ago it was kinda easy to find someone interesting. Right now there is problem. Models are lacking in my location. :/ And I also kinda tired with photography. Trying to make some money from it since 2015, doing wedding in 2019... Still its way to hard to find clients. Oversaturated market.
Nice work as always but surprised to see you doing a TFP shoot as you are established already. Ive been shooting professionally 20 years now and did TFP in the early years to build up my portfolio but stopped when I started photography as a profession. Ive done it a handful of times over the years for well known models (Playboy days) but dont advise it, especially for newer professional photographers. If you place no value on your work or your time, no one else will either. Dont work for free. Just my 2 cents 😊
Why do you have the cage on your camera? Does it have any benefits for this shooting or is that just on because you used it earlier and did not removed?
Hey! I use it as protection if I ever drop my camera. And this way I can place it on my tripod at anytime. This way I don’t need a tripod plate. And… it looks tough haha not gonna lie 🤫
Hahah! Just before I read a comment that said: time for photos. Through modelling I’ve always heard test for photo 😂 I guess there are multiple ways to say it, but it all comes down to the same thing.
It is “time for photos”. “Test” shoots are a proof of concept to show commercial clients and get a final OK on the project. The term comes from back when everything was film and didn’t have instant feedback like we do now with digital. You would shoot a test then wait for development and prints, then wait for the clients approval.
Hey! Yess that’s also the right saying. Through my modelling career they’ve always said test for photos. I’ve heard multiple ways. But I feel like yours would make the most sense hahaha
Your title says "i don't have anything to shoot... dude, no" And 5 seconds later you say you're waiting for your model? Find the mistake 😂 I haven't been able to find any models for my photos for months and so I actually have "nothing to photograph" Except for landscapes. But that gets boring in the long run
Faye is giving inspiration and I am all for it! I agree 100% with your message.
Ahh thank you!! Happy to hear 😇
Amazing photos, model and photographer

So handy right haha!
Thank you 🙏🏼
The take with the fluffy coat is truly stunning, and that's the beauty of your photos; they evoke a sense of peace and gentleness.... doei! ✌
Ahh thank you! Happy you like them 🙏🏼

Love the camera bag. Which inserts/dividers did you get for your setup?
Thankyou, I’ve used the inserts that came with the bag 🙌
@@inyourfayes nice. I got the divider kit but have been debating getting the large cube. 🤷🏻♂️
Amazing photoshoots! Love it!

Anytime!! Happy to hear it was inspiring to you 🙏🏼
Prachtige foto's. Onderbelicht je de foto's om die moody sfeer te krijgen?
Ahh dankjewel! Jaa wel een beetje.
Op deze manier kan ik de highlights mooi houden en niet te overbelicht
COOL VIDEO DUDE ✨
THANKS DUDE

Another helpful video. I saw the bag... said... that looks like mine! Now if I can just duplicate your talent. The moodboard I am stealing for sure.
Are you shooting aperture Priority or full manual?

what is your second camera and lens ?
Nice work as always but surprised to see you doing a TFP shoot as you are established already. TFP ~ Time for Prints.
Snap on the bag and on the way I desaturate my greens! 😂

Was it not time for photos or prints 😊
That looks so much like the Lincolnshire countryside.
you need to do in door photoshoot with ideas ;0
To be precise it is “time for print” :)
Great photos, but, Maybe it's just me, but I got a 1970s vibe from the finished pictures. Reminds me of Vogue or Cosmo when I was a little guy.
Ahh thank you!! I see that as a compliment 😇
@@inyourfayes it was, sorry for the confusion. 😁
The first pics when you had her lay flat and caught the grass in the foreground was such a great idea.
Ahh thank you!! Appreciate it 🙏🏼
Those grassy areas have snakes in them ... usually brown and tiger ones.
TFP = Time for photos
'Time for Prints'
Hahah! Just before I read a comment that said: time for photos. Through modelling I’ve always heard test for photo 😂 I guess there are multiple ways to say it, but it all comes down to the same thing.
Royal Park?
It’s Parkville! In Melbourne :)
All my life TFP was Time For Prints... 😮
TFP??? Trade for print???
It is “time for photos”. “Test” shoots are a proof of concept to show commercial clients and get a final OK on the project. The term comes from back when everything was film and didn’t have instant feedback like we do now with digital. You would shoot a test then wait for development and prints, then wait for the clients approval.
Ive also heard "time for prints" as well. Also from the film days ha
The model looks like she could be your sister.
We all feel that way, amateurs, hobbiests and pros alike.
I agree! It’s part of the journey! 😁
i thought tfp was time for photos lol
I thought TFP was “trade for photo” 🤪
At one time it was "Time for Prints" when people had physical photo portfolios
Great video Fay! Model Insta handle please?
@@MatoKovacic hey! I’ve added it into the description 🙌
Thanks a lot Fay! Have a great Sunday ; )
Are you Dutch? 😄 (end of the video)
Yesss I am! Hahah
@@inyourfayes ahh I knew it! ❤️ I lived 2 years in Arnhem. Dutch people will be always in my heart ❤️❤️❤️ love from Poland ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
