its so rare to see a good photographer who share secrets , you are awesome i hope i found this years ago before i learn by my self and it took me so many times in failure . every one should share his skills so we still have this industry going with more people to love it and improve it ❤
While watching the video I was thinking to myself, "Dang, I like how she edited those shots". Then to find out you generously shared your preset! So cool of you.
Let me tell you, I love the focus on your face when you work🤌 and this determination to rip this tape off 6:09 🤣🤭 btw at 6:06 you look sooo innocent and beautiful! I would take photo for sure!🖤🖤
Another trick is to use the mirror for candid shots. The model doesn’t know you’re aiming at them and has relaxed facial expressions. I love this video and the shots are top. Especially the ones that don’t show the edges of the mirror. Nice work!
Made me think of this product photographer who would use cardboard and cut shapes in it to shape the light on products.. The light in your studio looked amazing. Great results!
These Photos are SOOOOOOOO GOOD ! I love the mirror use...and honestly the mirror as reflector is perfection .It adds such a sharp light which i find gorgeous ! Thaaank you for the tips and tricks , and of course the preset ! :D
A little hello from France. Thank you very much for your video. It's very fresh and educational. We love it. A huge thank you for the preset, it's so rare to see this generosity! Thank you for everything.
Well... I'm an instant fan. You are doing amazing work. I'm learning so much from you. You clearly love what you do and the world desperately needs more truly talented and creative individuals like yourself. Keep up the superb work and never lose faith in yourself or your instincts.
With the mirror and the stripes, it is a little bit too dark and some warm light would make it better. I do mostly with Flashlights and Softbox so that I have control over the light...
I've seen some of your videos. You share some very creative ideas and i think that Your channel is so underrated. * 8:55 /personally prefer newer videos/.
Another amazing video and tips! defo going out and getting a mirror to try this out!! you are so talented! and the photos look spectacular! Thank you for spilling out the secret weapon! ❤❤
1. What I would give to have the exit sign mounted by the stairs. 2. Faye you are a comedian 3. That bend your back at 1:46 seems like a rear end car crash lol
Nice video, as an advise you might try using paper tape like the one that the painters use, it's easier to remove it so it might be easier to re use the mirror later 😊
Baby Faye ❤❤❤ blinding video as always. I love the fact that you always share and seem to genuinely want to help newer photographers. I’m looking forward to having a go with your preset first trip for me is trying to get it into fucking light room in the first place. 😂😂😂
Ah thank you for your kind words! ❤️ I really enjoy sharing the process behind the shoots, so much fun to film and put together. Really glad to hear you’re enjoying it.
Great video as always, really nice to see the BTS of your shoot! On the topic of the stickie residue from the tape - duct tape is terrible for this, if you use Gaff tape / Gaffa tape / Gaffer tape it will leave no residue - it costs more but this is what’s used on film sets for this reason it doesn’t leave any marks - available in amazon in different thicknesses and colours and very hand to always keep a folded square of it in your camera bag.
Since the light is so strong when you reflect it off the mirror into the model's face, couldn't you make a circle in a cardboard cut out, tape it onto the mirror and make this a poorman's gobo light?

Ahh thank you!! Ofcourse! 😊
That ending was epic!
Very creative. Gaffers tape might leave less mess when you want the mirror back. Should work just as well.
Let me tell you, I love the focus on your face when you work🤌 and this determination to rip this tape off 6:09 🤣🤭 btw at 6:06 you look sooo innocent and beautiful! I would take photo for sure!🖤🖤

I really enjoy sharing the process behind the shoots, so much fun to film and put together. Really glad to hear you’re enjoying it.
Top Tip:
Use Easi-Peel tape (or low tack) to leave no residue on the mirror!
Great video, inspiring as always 👍

what if we bought a 3x3m mirror for the floor surface.
That would be legendary! 🥵
❤❤
You are extremely talented. But also, the most beautiful girl in the world.
Ahw thank you! I really appreciate your words 😊
@@inyourfayes Well I appreciate your face and smile. :) (But also your photography).
Was that duct tape you used. 😬🙄😂
Yeah… probably should’ve used different tape 😂
