I love how you describe books, both those you hate and love. I always love your videos ❤ Have you read Bloom by Delilah S Dawson? Its a sapphic horror story with a secretly unhinged love interest. The last 50 pages of that book had me screaming! I think youd love it!
I la la loveeee She Drives Me Crazy. EVERY relationship in that book, from friends to the parents, is so beautiful. Also Ghost Girl had me way more emotionally invested than I expected to be.
I gave The Leech 4 stars but it's definitely not more than a 3,5. I think I just really wanted to love the book because hello, a hive mind that feels like it's on the spectrum and also has a couple existential crisis, yes please... But then the perspective changed and I was like... Am I supposed to root for this person? Because I don't. Give me the Institute back!
Ok but why does your rant about the mindfuck series make me wanna go read it just to see how bad it is lol. Like yes, maybe I do want to see what third grade reading comprehension with adult material actually is lol. Likelihood is low that I will check it out....but the temptation is there.
Leech was so bad I hated it as well. It was just trying to hard and had to many different “ creatures/monsters” like the author didn’t know where they wanted this book to be sci-fi the past steam punk yet they tried to put in a “”Frankenstein” aliens, and ghost in one book
