I love how whenever you give us the summary of a book, it’s like you’re already read it. You talk about it with such nonchalant confidence that I genuinely confuse them for wrap ups some times. That’s talent
"she lives in this whaling village where they whale.... for whales or whatever". I honestly live for your book descriptions of books you haven't read yet!!!
Chuck Tingle?? THE Chuck Tingle? As in "Pounded In The Butt By My Handsome Sentient Library Card Who Seems Otherworldly But In Reality Is Just A Natural Part Of The Priceless Resources Our Library System Provides" CHUCK TINGLE???
Currently reading: Darkness Demands, a spirit sending chilling letters with seemingly meaningless demands to members of a small community near a cemetery ultimately delivers punishment upon those recipients that dismiss the letters as mere mischief. POV shift each chapter is fresh and exciting. Can’t wait to finish!! Love your videos I’m super new to your…….Channnnnellll.
The eyes are the best did not disappoint. Love that cover of Midnight Rooms. One I don't see on your list? I was a Teenage slasher by Stephen Graham Jones!
All of these look so good, adding more to my TBR 😅 I just finished reading We Used to Live Here, so good! One of the best horror reads this year for me.
I read an arc for Bury Your Gays and it was SO GOOD not as good as Camp Damascus imo but still incredible! Currently reading an arc for the eyes are the best part and so far so good!
I've read the ARC for Lamplighter and the eyes are the best part and had a great time with both!!! 2 dif takes on unhinged women getting shit done and causing probs along the way also with wild endings Midnight Rooms sounds like so much fun, just got the ARC for that too pumped to read soon 😊 Other horror coming out later this yr: Don't Let the Forest In is gothic dark academia style horror for ya I Was a Teenage Slasher is Stephen Graham Jones' newest and it's like a tribute to slasher films
I'm currently filming an author taste test vlog for Josh Malerman (Malerman May) to see if I want to order Incidents Around the House in June. So far I've finished Daphne (I gave it four stars) and the first two novellas in Spin a Black Yarn (one four star and one three star). I'm about seventy five percent into Bird Box and really enjoying it. The final book for this vlog is A House at the Bottom of the Lake. At this point, it's looking like I'll be picking up Incidents Around the House. Thank you for another entertaining video! You always put a smile on my face.
I fucked with Manhunt! Recommend the book over the audio because the audio doesn’t have any marks for perspective changes and it’s confusing as hell. Gretchen has a great Gender Reveal pod interview where she talks about writing Manhunt and Cuckoo :)
Jordaline ! Please please read “the girl from the well“ by Rin Chupeco. It is about the girl behind the legend of the “ring”. It’s the perfect amount of creepy, and still really interesting and educational because of all the Japanese culture.
I'm beginning to think my name is Tiffany. I'm having an identity crisis. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAA You are hysterical, and I thought I watched your videos just to hear you mis-name me Tiffany - but - you are just way too entertaining so I keep coming back. Please keep calling me Tiffany. 🤣
Sorryyyyy to be this person but is Bury Your Gays about the CW’s Supernatural? Made character gay, immediately sent them to super hell, actor of the character was called Misha. Upset with myself that I know htat but I digress
please read manhunt, i feel like the reason no one likes it is because the MCs are trans. Its a zombie book and it's weird and creepy. in currently enjoying it
I love how whenever you give us the summary of a book, it’s like you’re already read it. You talk about it with such nonchalant confidence that I genuinely confuse them for wrap ups some times. That’s talent
That’s the same reason I watch her videos too!!!
"she lives in this whaling village where they whale.... for whales or whatever". I honestly live for your book descriptions of books you haven't read yet!!!
I personally LOVED Manhunt, so I'm super excited for Cuckoo
Chuck Tingle?? THE Chuck Tingle? As in "Pounded In The Butt By My Handsome Sentient Library Card Who Seems Otherworldly But In Reality Is Just A Natural Part Of The Priceless Resources Our Library System Provides" CHUCK TINGLE???
Thanks for including We Used to Live Here!
Just finished reading it in one sitting and it left me speechless. So good, proud you're Canadian (and from B.C.)!
Whenever I need a serotonin boost I watch Jordaline.
I wish i was this easy to convince 😭 but I've been burned too many times by pretty covers, i now see them as low-key a red flag
Yes... Don't trust the covers
6:39 GIRL U MADE ME SPIT MY COFFEEEEEE 🗣️🗣️🗣️💀💀💀

First of all, you look gorg.
Second of all, I read an ARC of We Used To Live Here and LOVED it!
🙏
Midnight Rooms sounds exactly like the movie Crimson Peak, really recommend it
Currently reading: Darkness Demands, a spirit sending chilling letters with seemingly meaningless demands to members of a small community near a cemetery ultimately delivers punishment upon those recipients that dismiss the letters as mere mischief.
POV shift each chapter is fresh and exciting.
Can’t wait to finish!!
Love your videos I’m super new to your…….Channnnnellll.
For Midnight Rooms when you said "she rises from her bed, covered in mysterious *pause*..." I immediately finished that with "goo?" I was wrong.
I read Manhunt and loved it! Just bought Cuckoo for my July TBR, can’t wait
The eyes are the best did not disappoint. Love that cover of Midnight Rooms. One I don't see on your list? I was a Teenage slasher by Stephen Graham Jones!
The knock on the door made me jump

Girl, Manhunt was pretty good. Weird but good, you'd like it. Cuckoo is even better!!!!
All of these look so good, adding more to my TBR 😅 I just finished reading We Used to Live Here, so good! One of the best horror reads this year for me.
Immediately jumped to like the video merely for the book bussy line 🤣
I’ve had gastro all day and now a fever, but thank you for the compliments anyway 🥰
So many books to put on my tbr! Love how you describe books x
I read an arc for Bury Your Gays and it was SO GOOD not as good as Camp Damascus imo but still incredible! Currently reading an arc for the eyes are the best part and so far so good!
I love your editing, also the way you tell a story just using the synopsis is unreal! Midnight Rooms sounds so good
Watching Mother was probably the closest I've come to having an anxiety attack so I can't wait to read We Used to Live Here!
I've read the ARC for Lamplighter and the eyes are the best part and had a great time with both!!! 2 dif takes on unhinged women getting shit done and causing probs along the way also with wild endings

Asian literature is my jam. I'm here for any Asian horror book. Thanks for the rec 🙂
I’m very excited for Bury Your Gays and thanks to you I’ve now added Midnight Rooms to my tbr as well
asking the right questions this episode... if libraries are just big bookussies, then what else are they hiding from us???
I bought three Harry Adam Knight books to start. Slimer, The Fungus, and Carnosaur because well I loved the movie from when I was little.
JORDALINE. 6:50 I screamed and now will be reading We Used To Live Here 😂 also I liked Manhunt ooops
Wait, people didn’t like Manhunt??? It was one of my favorite books of 2022 😂😭
For The Eyes Are The Best Part, appa means father and umma means mother, so George is dating Ji-won's mom.

I read an arc for The Eyes Are The Best part and loved it! I liked it so much more than Maeve Fly!
I've never before in my life wanted my name to be Tiffany, but I want to be as cool as she is.

7:30 I'm imagining that clip of Jennifer Lopez walking up to her old house and that guy asking having no idea who she is lmao

These sound so good to check out. 💀📚☕🦇👻😈

I just bought it the other day and I’m glad you liked it because it sounds so gross and good
I know Tiffany is your name but its mine too so its like your talking only to me. Lol 😆
Hello pretty girl❤ love your vlogs!!
Sorryyyyy to be this person but is Bury Your Gays about the CW’s Supernatural? Made character gay, immediately sent them to super hell, actor of the character was called Misha. Upset with myself that I know htat but I digress
That's exactly what I thought too when I read the synopsis!
Don't judge a book by its cover
