    I’m a physician that teaches Anatomy and Physiology. When I lecture on my nutrition unit, I tell students that even though nutrition is obviously one of the most important factors for health, in medical school we learn almost nothing about it. Then I ask them why this is so. After a stunned silence, I tell them the answer: “There’s no money in health.” If patients are well, not sick, there’s no need for physicians.

      @@razorsharp9850 Hi , I don’t eat breakfast or lunch and I have a smoothie of a apple ,a whole lemon , one heaped teaspoon of organic Turmeric , half a teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper , half a teaspoon of organic Black pepper half a teaspoon of Cinnamon with a splash of Extra Virgin Olive Oil , apple cider vinegar and a splash of Hemp Seed Oil and a good pinch of Celtic Sea Salt and a clove of Garlic and a good spoonful of organic Sauerkraut for the probiotics , I fill the blender to the top with Mineral water at about 4 pm in the afternoon .
      Also drink more water ,most of us spend our lives dehydrated so please try and drink the daily recommended amount .
      I sit on my backside for work so if you have a physically active job I recommend 2 meals a day but half the size of the meals ,I have my evening meal at about 6 pm .
      I eat a full fat meal again trying to avoid carbs as much as possible I do eat pasta and rice but I’ve cut right down and I avoid bread altogether.
      I eat a lot more fish mainly small shoal fish like Mackeral Sardines and Alaskan line caught Salmon but not Tuna ,it’s filled with alot of toxins .
      Full fat meat and cheese , alot of Mediterranean dishes like Greek or Turkish salads with either fish or lamb and real butter .
      And also Thai dishes but again cook it yourself and try and avoid the sugars .
      We need the fat for energy so you don’t feel hungry and the smoothie feels my stomach sufficiently until I have my evening meal, this is the secret we have been lied too our bodies run of fat but most people unfortunately nowadays run on sugar and bad fats .
      We put on weight because our liver becomes overloaded with sugars and bad fats from junk food like biscuits , cakes and most takeaway foods .
      That’s why we put fat on our belly’s, hips and back, the Liver can’t take any more fat so it stores it elsewhere .
      So please cook your own food and if you do this you’ll be daily fasting where you reach ketoses where your blood sugars levels stabilise and this helps cleanse your Liver
      And I have a normal sized meal in the evening but only eat enough so your satisfied , I keep to a Buddhist rule of half your stomach for food , a quarter for fluid and a quarter for digestion .
      And definitely avoid the bad cooking oils , I only consume olive oils and hempseed and coconut oil .
      And yes I have the occasional indulgence but you’ll find that once you rewire your brain you really won’t want to and you regret it after .
      Please take control , you decide what and when you eat .
      The Supermarkets and the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry want you eating rubbish ,a unhealthy population makes them money so don’t fall for it so I wish you all the health , be fitter , be lighter , be mentally happier , sleep well and do it .
      I’ve watched a lot of Dr Bergs videos and I know he’s a Chiropractor and people have slated his advice but I’ve followed a lot of his advice , not all of it but it’s really worked for me and it’s the first time I’ve lost weight and kept it off .
      Also if you cut out all the junk food the money you save you can spend on more quality grass fed organic meat , cheese , butter and oh my God Alaskan line caught Salmon,
      I can see why Bears like it .
      So read and watch as much stuff as you can on what we need to be healthy and you’ll realise just how little we need to eat .
      People have said to me that they can’t understand why they are overweight , I reply it’s because you keep putting food in your mouth , like all the time , it’s basic maths if you don’t put it in you won’t put it on , go large you’ll be large .😂
      So good luck and I wish you all the best .
      Sorry if I’ve carried on abit .

Mainstream doctors nearly killed me too, and naturopathic/chinese/chiropractic medicine and common sense saved me and cured me. I avoid doctors like the plague for chronic illness. Acute? Sure, take me to the hospital and do whatever is necessary to keep me alive, otherwise, not going there, I learned the hard way. So when the injections were rolled out it wasn't even a consideration for me. I don't do pharmaceuticals, end of story. • @emergentform1188
      @emergentform1188 Год назад

      @BOGDAN SERBAN It's simply because when you're dying, whatever it takes to keep you alive is a good thing, no matter how toxic, scarring, etc. Mainstream medicine is incredible in this way. But that's not what the good doctor or I was talking about. For chronic illness, mainstream medicine is just awful. They don't even think it's possible to cure most things, so they don't even bother to try, which is absolutely ridiculous. I've had experiences where I've cured myself of some pretty nasty conditions and my doctor actually denied that my interventions had any bearing (specifically, sluggish thyroid and life-threatening persistent asthma). Recently I helped cure the son of a coworker, 5 year old boy, of severe life-threatening asthma as well, when he had a whole team of doctors and specialists working on him and were unable to help him. I'm not even a doctor and I have zero medical training. That's how sad they can be. It's because big pharma is funding most of what doctors are educated in, and there's no money in curing people of chronic illnesses. There is money in keeping people from dying however because dead bodies don't buy drugs. Acute vs. chronic illness, a world of difference there. Acute - hospital 100%, chronic - holistic/nutrition/lifestyle. Thanks for your question, cheers!

    • @emergentform1188
      @emergentform1188 Год назад

      @BOGDAN SERBAN That's amazing that you are so misguided in your belief that chronic asthma can't be cured that you don't even believe it's possible, and yet here I sit, completely drug free with zero breathing problems (after spending most of my life running to the hospital on a regular basis) and I can't even remember the last time I used my inhaler. And last I heard from my coworker about her son, who is now 8, he's never had a problem since. Mainstream doctors and pharmaceutical companies love people like yourself I'm sure, so convinced that chronic health issues are incurable that you can't even accept it when someone was cured of something. No wonder people have little to no hope when they get a chronic health problem and just take whatever stupid poison their doctor gives them. I'm sorry that the facts in my case are so problematic for you, but the fact remains that both me and that boy are living asthma free and your whining and claims to the contrary will never change that. But you are free to persist in your delusions if that makes you happy. Furthermore, asthma is actually quite simple to cure when you understand the underlying problem and treat it as a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder. I'm happy to explain it all to you if you like, but somehow I think you don't want to know since it'll be disruptive to your delusions so I'll leave you to your anger, mistrust, and ignorance.
      PS: I was married to a naturopath so I know a lot more about curing health problems than the average person and over the years I've helped numerous people overcome all sorts of things that their doctors were hopeless in fixing. Often times chronic health issues are rooted in simple nutritional deficiencies, bad diet, or poor lifestyle choices, and once the person is shown how that is likely causing their health problem they find the courage to correct it and boom problem solved. It's easy. Recently I just helped my 78 year old step dad overcome chronic insomnia, after his doctors could do nothing for him for years, and it was soooo easy and obvious. I've been doing this sort of thing for like 18 years now and it's kind of a hobby of mine and brings me a lot of joy. But my point is: most doctors are clueless, stay away when it comes to chronic health issues, you're lucky if they don't just make you worse and your chances of being cured of anything is almost zero.

    Seeking better health, I did 18 months of obsessive research in 2016, and then decided to undertake a degree in nutrition to test my new understanding and learn physiology and biochemistry. So disillusioned, I came away utterly disgusted that the Universities and the Australian Guidelines were entirely corrupted. I witnessed the stupidity of 'following the science' and then abruptly inserting an assumption that had NO science whatsoever to support the narrative. I saw the misuse of epidemiology too, because I came at it from a background in statistics. It was appalling. This experience though placed me very well to see through the lies, the propaganda and the misuse of science in the plandemic. The veil of food corruption is at the very heart of our poor health. And when you see the agenda for what it really is, you cannot abide the parasitic evil of the so-called 'elites'. They have no moral superiority whatsoever.

Drugs to treat symptoms not causes. Funny thing is, in 3-5 years time, what they leaned will be old and obsolete. What never goes obsolete is the Hippocratic oath. I am an avid baker and cook in my spare time, and I noted something interesting after a few years of minimizing my use of seed oils (mostly to be resourceful with animal fats that I have access to). Fats like butter, olive oil, lard, etc. taste extremely rich; their taste indicates their nutritional and caloric value. Because of this, you often end up using less to avoid overpowering your food, and you'll find yourself feeling satisfied with much smaller portions of things like fried foods. The same cannot be said for the most commonly used seed oils. I'm convinced now that a big reason why they're used so much (besides being cheap) is that their lack of flavor and depth makes people eat more and prevents them from feeling satiated.

    Great content! New sub here! I will be 66 in a couple days, and use absolutely no pharmaceutical products, prescribed or over the counter for any reason whatsoever. I am healthier and stronger now than i was ten years ago. About a year and a half ago, i changed the way i ate. I began eating just one good meal per day, eating real whole foods and drastically limiting sugars, carbs, processed and fast 'foods'.
    I lost about 60 pounds of excess fluids and body fat in the first 2 - 3 months. I also reversed every chronic health condition that plagued me for decades! I was no longer obese. Gone was my fatty liver condition. The edema, or swelling in my feet and lower legs was gone. My cellulitis was gone. My occasional hypertension was gone. The frequent late night urination stopped. My COPD symptoms were gone, and i still smoke modestly. Imagine that. I also suffered with peripheral neuropathy in the feet. That was the most stubborn condition, but that has also finally subsided. My testosterone levels increased, and i stopped losing teeth. The teeth that remain are stronger and healthier. I doubt i will ever lose another tooth, and would bet the farm that my bones are also stronger. My hair and skin are better. It is like aging in reverse!
    I also do get exercise, but that had nothing to do with the weight loss. I do walking, yard work, squats, push ups and light to moderate weight training to name a few. I do these things to maintain strength and muscle mass. I have been trying to help others who want to lose weight and get healthier - whoever will listen that is.

      @Tony Price, firstly, congratulations. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet. They are partially but not completely numb. What do you think causes that ? Also, what does your one good meal a day consist of ?

    • @tonyprice2256
      @tonyprice2256 Год назад +8

      @@tjcint Hi John. I have found that the root of pretty much every chronic health problem is a condition called insulin resistance. Insulin resistance affects a large percentage of the US population, including children, and has been steadily spreading globally. It is caused by A.) What we eat, and B.) The frequency of eating.
      Anytime we eat anything, our body responds with a spike of insulin. Insulin is not a bad thing. Our bodies use it to transport glucose sugars into our cells that can be used as energy for our cells to function properly. But when we consume too much sugars and carbs and eat too frequently, our insulin spikes are also frequent. And at some point, we become insulin resistant. Simply put, our cells already have adequate amounts of glucose, and begin rejecting the additional glucose the insulin is trying to deliver. That excess glucose is then transported to the liver where it is converted into fat and stored on the liver. Over time, this becomes a fatty liver.
      I used to eat small more frequent meals per day, and used to consume too much sugars and carbs. When you are young, healthy and have better metabolism, you can get away with eating a lot of carbs, and burn them off with daily activities. But as we age, carbs are converted into sugars, and end up as more fat on the liver. A fatty liver will lead to poor metabolic health, pre-diabetes, diabetes and other forms of inflammation in the body. And this inflammation is the direct cause of every chronic health condition - cancers, heart disease, peripheral neuropathy and pretty much anything else you can think of. Peripheral neuropathy is a condition of damaged nerve cells caused by inflammation. Those nerve cells can be repaired as long as the condition has not gone on for too long. It sounds that you have a very good chance to fully recover. My condition was almost unbearable for a few years. I had a lot of numbness, pain and stiffness in my toes.
      A typical meal for me begins with a colander - about two bowls of fresh steamed, mostly locally produced, organic, non GMO vegetables - and a good variety of them. I switch it up from day to day, and have a mix of four or five different veggies every day. I will add a good amount of butter, garlic and a variety of herbs and spices to them. I will also have a serving of once again, locally produced, free range meat protein - anywhere from about 5 ounces to one pound. I may also include some healthy fats like avocado, cheese, nuts, pumpkin seeds, etc. A meal like this will satisfy me for the day, and i have no cravings for snacking during the 22 hours that i am not eating. I thought that eating one meal a day would be difficult, but for some reason it was easy for me to do right away. During the daily fasting period i consume two cups of coffee every morning without sugar. I may have an occasional black or green tea, and throughout the rest of the day i drink water constantly, sometimes with a little fresh lemon or lime squeezed in.
      This is drastically different from how i used to eat, and i have reversed pretty much every chronic health condition i had for decades in just a few months from eating this way. Best wishes on your journey to improved health and well being!

      @Michaels Carport Well said. Many people don't want to believe that they have been lied to for decades by the very institutions they trusted all based on 'science'. Mark Twain once said something along these lines: "It is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled." And of course, that was said more than 100 years ago. I have leaned long ago, that we can not save the world, but we can only help those who truly want to be helped. Well done sir! I have been starting to increase the levels of fatty meat protein in what i do. Another thing i want to try is to add some periodic extended fasting into my routine. I have not done that yet.

    I did something similar a few years ago when I was wandering a supermarket, and I was surprised at the amount of food items that contained seed oils. One of the worst was a pack of garlic stuffed olives, the dressing was made with sunflower oil (which is the worst one) instead of olive oil. Even commercial bread is made with the stuff.
    This is the problem, people are eating seed oils without even knowing it, they tend to think of seed oils as coming in bottles that are used for cooking, they don't think of them as ingredients, and almost all processed foods try to find ways to add them.
    Linoleic Acid, which forms the bulk of the polyunsaturated fats found in seed oils, is an essential fat, we need it to live, but we can get it naturally from unprocessed foods in the amounts we need, so there is no need to supplement it by eating unprocessed foods. Almost every modern day disease is caused by a combination of refined grains, sugar and seed oils, and most processed foods contain these to varying degrees (for example, jam doughnuts are loaded with all 3).

      I was still consuming some carbs when I started the removal of seed oils from my diet a few years ago, and was still consuming minimally processed sugars, I had a similar experience, noticing that seed oils are in manufactured bread (but not crumpets), and in virtually all prepared food, and even in dried fruit. My new normal pattern which I have found to suit me is time-restricted eating with a meat and dairy based diet - snack on cheese before one main meal late in the day - which is a fairly natural pattern of cooking the meat after the hunt, then feasting before sleep. I make exceptions for coffee (instant coffee with double cream - I'm English).
      Also, probably once a month on average, I deliberately consume a significant amount of carbs (including sugar) for a day or two - fruit, all-butter shortbread, crumpets with lashings of butter (kerrygold - from grass-fed cows). After decades of topping up the tank with the wrong fuel, I now occasionally fill up with some premium fuel to help flush out some of the remaining dregs. No cravings - I just want to retain the ability to digest and fuel my body on each fuel source.
      I believe that many farmed animals are fed more than enough seed oils for their eggs, milk, cheese and meat to incorporate all the linoleic acid you could possibly want.
      I still have more weight to shed, but prefer the gradual approach of a permanent lifestyle change. I could still try an extended fast if progress stopped.

      I saw an article in the Epoch Times by Dr. Marcola and it was the first time I had heard about seed oils and the connection to auto-immune disorders. He talked about the success he has had with his patients by getting them to limit seed oil as much as possible As I was diagnosed with a rheumatoid condition about 5 years ago I gave it a go and my condition has improved to the point that I am no longer on the steroids. This posting prompted me to do a deeper dive and it's a pretty controversial subject for sure. I don't use many of the processed, convenience foods because I like to cook my own stuff and quit using shortening in favor of lard or butter several years ago...but mostly for the taste and texture of the end product rather than health concerns (which I honestly knew nothing about). It is discouraging, though, to see all this stuff. If you followed all the advice and warnings about food -- even so-called 'real food', there would be nothing left to eat. Hi-carbs, lo-carbs, no-carbs, carnivore, no sugar (even fruits), protein restrictions, fat restrictions, and now it's down to the source of the fats. Very confusing and discouraging.

      Canola is poison, and whatever called vegetable oil is unknown poison. I stick to olive oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, and grape seed oil, but I'm not going there about the latest trend of butter to substitute all seed oils. That's nothing but clogging arteries, even if I use it, but not often. I'd rather take my chances with the ones I use. Oils should never be reused more than a second time, and then have to throw it out because becomes toxic. It's best in some kind of container before throw it away. Of course in restaurants that's not done. Definitely coconut oil is better than pork fat or lard, used in southern cooking, but I don't fry anything in anything else but olive oil or a combination of olive oil and sunflower oil. I'm used to the way in Spain. For example fried chicken, it's olive oil and maybe sunflower oil combined. Fried eggs, use olive oil, same as the fried potatoes. Just tastes so much better. I use butter exclusively on toast or biscuits or scones, if I have them, and if needed in a dessert, or for dipping lobster or crab legs, if steamed. That's it. Not if cooked any other way. It takes a long time for me to use up a box of four sticks of butter. That's why kept in the freezer. The one now, expiration date April 2023, and I doubt I'll use it all before the date. Only one stick so far. I just wasn't raised that way, and only sweet butter, never salted butter. I get culture shocked if given bread and butter in a restaurant, and the butter is salted.
