What is it about the aftermarket splitter that necessitates it’s removal for an oil change? Can the panel under the engine not be removed with it in place? I’m asking because I’ve never had to remove my stock one for an oil change.
With a stock splitter you're absolutely right. Even with the splitter on my car, it's not required to remove it for just an oil change. Just about all the twin tip exhausts available have a tip droop problem which requires adjustment occasionally, unless you've permanently welded it in place. Because of this, and also camera angle issues, we normally remove the splitter. Good catch, thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for watching, Dave, I appreciate it! I think it was just an old fashioned case of the blood leaving my hands from raising them up too much. :) But thank you. Yep, she's a good looking ride for sure.
Thank you for watching! I'm not sure if you mean the fill cap on the valve cover or the drain plug on the oil pan. The drain plug is 27 ftlbs. The fill cap is just hand tight. Hope that helps!
Gorgeous ride Rachel and that rear diffuser is🔥🔥🔥

Hello, what exhaust setup is that? And where did you order the cover with the holes for the exhaust exit? Thank you!
Hi! It's Larini SE exhaust and Euro spec OEM exhaust grilles. Thanks for watching and the question!

What brand oil funnel
Hi Scott, it's an Assenmacher oil funnel.
You forgot to mention the 1st step!
If you can't buy a 4 post lift, just lay out your tools, jack up your lotus and start the oil change, smart guy! ;)
