This is my worst nightmare. I have TMD and every single day I have to remind myself not to open my mouth too much. To be careful when I yawn. I’m in a constant state of anxiety because of this
How did you get it ? Me I got it when I once yawned to wide, then a couple days later I had Bell’s palsy for a month I had to go to the doctor and they Gabe some medication to take and by 3 days I could fully smile, but now I notice I have the stiffness under my chin /jaw.
@See3PeeOh i have this too, I didnt know it was TMD, my lock jaw started very mild now its getting worse, I cant get them checked because of covid19, dentists around my area arent even in service, im literally sweating rn that ive learn its not just some simple thing
Me too. It's not fun :( I've had approx. 10 (often more) full jaw dislocations a year for the past 12 years. TMJ problems are so annoying because each person has a different structural reason for experiencing issues, so it's really hard for doctors to nail down why it happens. I'm currently wearing a custom mouth splint made by my dentist to move my jaw back into a position it's more comfortable with, then I'll get braces to permanently move my teeth there. Luckily a maxio-facial specialist showed a relative and myself how to do the relocation like in the video (not the syringe, that doesn't work on my jaw) so as long as he's there I don't have to go to the hospital. The actual relocation bit doesn't hurt though if you relax, it's only the prolonged dislocation cos all you ligaments spasm :/ I wish you luck with your TMD journey! It's incredibly frustrating when you have something that can cause so much anxiety. I really hope they eventually stop for you
I totally understand your fear and I’m so sorry ): I didn’t realize how severe my TMD was until I yawned just a little two wide in the middle of the night last week and dislocated my jaw. I tried to watch this video in hope of taking care of it myself but the pain was so bad and I was in such a panic that I couldn’t get through watching the whole video. Honestly, the worst part of it for me was having to wait in my room in the ER for almost an hour completely alone because I wasn’t allowed to have a visitor with me because of the pandemic. My jaw has never locked open like that before so I was really scared. I have yet to be able to find a specialist for it but my sister had similar issues when she was younger and told me all her jaw tension, pain, and popping went away after a doctor prescribed her Valium. So there is some hope out there, I guess. I hope you can find a solution for yourself soon so you don’t have to live with that unbearable anxiety
As I was sitting there, jaw dislocated, in pain and desperately searching for a reminder on how to put it back in place, I must say I did NOT appreciate your failed attempt at a funny entrance.
When I was like 18 my jaw started to click whenever I’d open my mouth all the way. It never hurt so I didn’t think much of it and I would open my mouth all the way quite often. A couple times my jaw would get stuck open for like a second or two and then go back to normal. So I still didn’t think it was a big deal until one night right before brushing my teeth I was trying to look at my molars in the mirror and my jaw got stuck open. I thought it would be like other times where it would fix itself instantly but this time it didn’t and I was like, “wtf my jaw is on some bullshit it’ll close rightnow”. But it didn’t close and i started googling all kinds of stuff trying figure how it fix it. I tried a bunch of different stuff for like an hour trying to fix it but nothing worked. I didn’t want to go to the er because I didn’t have insurance and I knew it would cost me a lot. But since I couldn’t fix it I had to suck it up and go the er. Well once I got called in and explained what happened one of the nurses told me my jaw was dislocated and then he tried to put it back in place but couldn’t. I thought I was f*cked. I had to wait like another 20 minutes for a real doctor to check me out. Luckily, he was able to get my jaw back in place. But man that shit was some bullshit about a month later I got the bill and it was like 1000 for the hospital and 700 for the doctor. Some straight good ol bull shit but luckily I was able to get a discount and it ended up being 600 for hospital and about 250 for the doctor(still some bullshit). But yeah that shit sucked having my jaw stuck open for like 2 and half hours and then having to pay almost 1000 for a doctor to fix it in less than a minute. Yes, I have successfully done this many times. It should pop in quite easily if you do it correctly. If it doesn't, don't try to force it or you will risk breaking your jaw. Go to an emergency room or physician instead.
Once you have a dislocation, any dislocation, at any joint, your odds of having a dislocation at the same joint increases a lot. Try jaw strenghtening exercises.
For over a year now my jaws (by jaws I mean both sides of my jaw.) Have been crack/popable. It's never painful, actually its pretty satisfying but when I move my jaw to one side It can crack or pop. The doctor said to wear a mouth guard and to not pop it for the past 3 months which hasn't helped but my right side pops on its own sometimes. I've been looking for answers the past year can someone tell me what it could be and how to fix it?

Mine actually happened while I was singing a couple of years ago, I felt a tightness in my muscles under my chin and then my whole neck in the front got tight, and my voices volume when screaming or singing has been lower and stuffier kinda. I'm typing this to see if anyone cane answer me back to what this could possibly be? I went to a ENT he said it is anxiety, but I'm not completely sold on that theory just yet. My breathing feels tight at times too. And my joint on either side of my face stick out when I open my jaw as wide as I can.

@psycho.. last weapon through mandreegam uh.. 😐
Jaw dropping act :)
Is the first method ok to do on yourself??
Yes, I have successfully done this many times. It should pop in quite easily if you do it correctly. If it doesn't, don't try to force it or you will risk breaking your jaw. Go to an emergency room or physician instead.
Wow 😲 good
my jaw was put in place but i still feel it loose… why is that?
Once you have a dislocation, any dislocation, at any joint, your odds of having a dislocation at the same joint increases a lot. Try jaw strenghtening exercises.
Here i am trying to find a way to fix my jaw cause i can't open it wide
Does any of you has uneven face because of tris?
I have my jaw dislocated 4th times it hurts so much ❤️
I did that and my jaw is stuck I can't close it what do I do?
lol
Is your jaw closed???????
That patient got issues lmao
For over a year now my jaws (by jaws I mean both sides of my jaw.) Have been crack/popable. It's never painful, actually its pretty satisfying but when I move my jaw to one side It can crack or pop. The doctor said to wear a mouth guard and to not pop it for the past 3 months which hasn't helped but my right side pops on its own sometimes. I've been looking for answers the past year can someone tell me what it could be and how to fix it?
omg i am having exact same issue. Did you solve urs if so how?? update please
@@Headie0ne what's your condition right now
That man is GONE 🤣
I have a lock jaw huhuhu
Great content but what’s with the intro flush? Is it his thang or something? Lmao
Idk if it’s supposed to imply cleanliness,
But all I heard was a flush not a water faucet 🚰 😂 thanks for the crash course though, it was informational, I’ll give ya a thumbs up 👍
the entry is something hahaha
Mine actually happened while I was singing a couple of years ago, I felt a tightness in my muscles under my chin and then my whole neck in the front got tight, and my voices volume when screaming or singing has been lower and stuffier kinda. I'm typing this to see if anyone cane answer me back to what this could possibly be? I went to a ENT he said it is anxiety, but I'm not completely sold on that theory just yet. My breathing feels tight at times too. And my joint on either side of my face stick out when I open my jaw as wide as I can.
Is anyone else asking themselves why the video starts with the MD walking out of the restroom with the sound of the toilets flushing???
I'm from operation ouch
✌
1:04 zombie patient 😂😂
I can’t dislocate and relocate my jaw constantly. I do t even mean too
Am i the only one who got a dislocated jaw from a street fight?? 😭
that looks crazy painful
He doesn't have TMJ he got rabies from a dog bite.
Anyone else thinking it's kind of messed up that the doctor comes out of the bathroom then gloves up and sticks his hands in the patients mouth...... how is the patient ok with that? I knw I wouldn't be. LOL
That was horrifying.
but a good thing
And the syrinch is breaking down when i bite💀💀
If only I could do this to myself instead of spending $8k for a doctor to do it. Cause I can’t move my jaw so the syringe method would do nothing.
What if mine came out comepletly]
So you can’t talk?
ER!
That thumbnail made me yawn.
هيه مال ادروب غير هذا صديقك
so much bad humour is going on in one video
omg I thought ahhh never mind hahaha
Why the toilet intro?
Really? Filming while walking out of the bathroom with the toilet flushing?? Whyyyy?
