[SUB] How to make Creamy Potato Croquettes :: Classic Potato Croquettes

It is a croquette filled with potatoes that are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
It's crispy and soft, so it's really delicious.
You don't need a lot of ingredients, so make it a snack.
The potato dough is mashed potato, and you can eat it as a side menu.
*** Weighing is scale (g), rice spoon (tbsp), teaspoon (tsp) weighing.

✤ Ingredients
-570g Peeled potatoes (626g before peeling)
-60g Butter
-40ml Milk (depending on the moisture level of potatoes)
-4-5Pinches Salt (add or subtract while tasting)
✤ For frying
-2 eggs
-Flour (any type)
-Bread crumbs
-Cooking oil
✤ TIP
-Potatoes need to be frozen for about 2 hours for easy cutting. (It may vary depending on refrigerator performance).
-It is also possible to sprinkle oil and fry in an oven or air fryer, but the texture is different.

I made this and added a very finely chopped 1/2 small onion, 1/2 tsp garlic cooking separately,, combined all ingredients with 1/4 cup of grated white cheddar. BIG HIT! Thank you for the inspiration

For vegan people you can use all purpose flour instead of eggs and then roll in breadcrumbs it turns out somewhat same.
I made these with cheese and air fried them and they were really good! They leaked a lot though.

i made potato croquettes once. i made it with stir-fried ground beef and minced carrots and onions, and I shaped them into 7-8 decently large oval babies. it was a tedious and long process but it tasted so good with ketchup. would highly recommend it.

Funny, I made home-made croquettes just yesterday! Though I added netmug and roasted almonds to the potato-mix (and used a round form). The tip to fry them fast and very hot is extremly important, my first few went hollow because the potato mixture kinda just melted away.

I just made this, here’s some tips
Make this in whatever shape you want, and if you pipe them do shorter worms if you can’t pipe consistently.
Also coat them well because mine were pretty delicate and leaked a ton
Season your mashed potatoes well, bread crumbs don’t taste like anything
Now go enjoy your extra thick French fries

@@ferMADify The crust wasn't hard enough when I deep fried it so sone of them were cut in half lmao,, and as it was mashed potatoes the frying oil was all over the place it acted like a sponge, and it was to "fatty" for me,,, I think my main mistake was that my oil wasn't hot enough and also the potatoes were poor quality so it didn't help
@@wai-ako I see! Thank you for your reply ^^ I was scared of this problem.. that's why I asked you! Frying is actually tricky because temperature is important.. too low or too high can totally destroy whatever you're trying to fry.. Better luck next time ^^
