- A customer's DF54 was sent in for checking and servicing due to a choke.
So, I took the opportunity to make a video about servicing the DF54 single dose coffee grinder.

Doesn't the chirping that happens when you align the zero point damage the burrs ? Sounds like they are grinding against each other.
The part that is causing the chirping does not involve in the grinding for the espresso burrs and the outer rim of the burrs are flat. Besides, the touching is only briefly and hence it's all right.
I feel like just using blind shakers are superior to all the hassle integrated declumpers cause. Better declumping and no regrinding or clogging issues. Super Lube is a popular thread grease here in the states.

This was a very helpful video. Is it really OK to grind to the zero point while it's running?
A gentle touch between the burrs is fine as long as it's not rubbing each other for a prolonged period of time and the sound when the burrs touches should be just chirping and not screeching.
