Wendougee Space & RKone 64 Espresso Coffee Grinder Set up

Wendougee Space, is by far, the most stable espresso machine, in terms of thermal stability, manual pressure profiling on the go, ability to measure and instantly feedback on the weight, flow and pressure all at one go. Is there any machine in the market that does that? Let me know!

hey. just curious to know if you still have this automatic tamper and whether you would recommend it. thanks!
Thank you for your video.
Putting marker on the rotary burr makes no sense, if only a portion of the burrs touch, the entire outside of the rotary burr will touch that point as it spins and get wipeout, you should only put marker on the stationary burr
You have to spend time to get a cup. Turkish style is so simple and delicious.
Try the new release smeg professional espresso machine, which is definitely way better than this one
Well it's different machine and hence hard to compare. The one I reviewed in the video is machine with built-in grinder with thermal block as heating elements. The SMEG professional is similar to a single boiler with a modified e61 group on it. The functionality looks very similar to the Gemilai machines which I also reviewed in my other video especially the CRM3007.
Any vst or better basket does it fit?? Txtx
Any 18g and 58mm basket will fit.
Can we swap the basket to vst? Any that fits.
Yes you can.
@CaffeMartellaSingapore i tried n i basically couldn lock the portafilter, thats y i ask. Any brands u tried that works? I tried mhw3bomber DEP 18g basket but i could not lock it. I have press the basket in completely no bulging up looks fine but it just wouldn lock it. Which brand of vst basket have u tried that fits? Maybe a make a video on that? Txtx I notice that the smeg original basket has a groove but vst basket all doesnt. Which brand did u use? Thanks really need help on this, i could go visit your shop to buy it from u if possible too. Do u have the machine in your shop?
@marcusteng2649 I will see if i can test as the demo machine has since been returned to SMEG. I will see if i can get my hand on one.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore thank u so much bro
Lovely!
do you think DF64 gen 2 can improve with tilted base?
Yum
Hi CY, coffee time.😊
Thanks so much for your service :)
So it really doesn't come with the grinder like in the Alibaba showcase?
I use this espresso machine Delonghi EC950 Dedica Maestro Plus and Kin Grinder K6 grinder. This machine has 3 level water temperature adjustment buttons: Max (~ 96°C) - Dark Med (~ 94°C) (default) - Medium-dark Min (~ 92°C) - Light - medium I use Max level. If I make it with 40-50 setting K6 grind in your video, I don't get thick coffee crema like in your video. Even if I set the grind setting to 20-25, the coffee crema is less. What could be the reason for the less crema? Could it be related to the water temperature setting? Or could it be a problem with the espresso machine? (my machine is new) Thanks.
Thank you! I enjoyed your teaching method. I subscribed.
Thank you for liking my videos and subscribing to my channel! Really appreciates it.
Top tip: placing the rim back at 35 and then turning seems to do the trick.
You need to weigh the beans with water sprayed. It will change the final weight otherwise
I use mineral water because the water in Switzerland has a lot of calcium, but I can't get any pressure or foam, very sad. I use 100% Arabica with a long roasting time, what am I doing wrong?
Just to double check when you said that the 100% Arabica beans with long roasting time...does it mean that it has been roasted some time ago?
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore The brand of the coffee is movenpick, a Swiss brand, the coffee says careful long-term roasting
@ricardovoegeli5359 do you have th roast level and roast date of this coffee?
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore i see 30.08.01, can be 23 years old? wow now I bought another one, Colombian single origin medium roast, and the only date is the one until will be good for consumption
@ricardovoegeli5359 I think the main issue with the coffee is its freshness. For any medium roasted beans, try to use it within a month from the roast date.
Sur extraction. Mauvaise extraction.
Selon moi, l’extraction est mauvaise. C’est sur extrait ! Comme quoi, même quand on a la machine et le bon matériel, ça ne fait pas tout.
Wow this is an old one CY but definitely loved seeing this again!
We shd do it again!
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore I wish I could drink caffeinated coffee but sadly I need to focus on decaf going forward. Recent diagnosis made me have to switch 😢so if you know of some good tasting decaf beans please let me know. Hubby can still do the caffeinated beans though👍☕️
@richterstitcher7936 currently I have been using the sugarcane decaf from Colombia papayan. This is really good!
thank you CY I’ll look for it if it’s available to me for purchase somewhere
May I ask you how to remove rust and prevent the machines from rusting ever again?
This is very serious and competent material! I am looking to buy a k6 as a firrst grinder. There arent that many alternatives in my country. Thing is i dont even own an espresso machine and i will most likely only make pour over and mokapot. Are there any other much better alternative at the same price point that are better for these more coarse grind types?
bro where's yr shop!
It's at 32 Seah Street near Raffles Hotel
Can this Espresso Machine can cater 150cups per day?
Happy New Year CY🎉❤
Happy new year Gwen a d thank you for supporting me always!
what engine do you use?
I bought the smeg machine 4 days ago. I tried a lot of times to make a cappuccino but i think the milk frother doesnt work right! I tried a lot of times with different ways and different milks and the milk was at the end warm but not frothy! Have you had this problem ?
If you can send me a video of the milk frothing that you do, i can try to see the issue you are encountering.
@CaffeMartellaSingapore thank you very much for the quick answer! Today i sent the machine back because I tried 3 liter milk and I wasn't frothy, it was like a hot milk! One friend of mine tried also to make a cappuccino and he had the same opinion! I will wait a few days for the answer from the shop and I will order a new one! By the way do you really believe that the machine is good ?? Your video was amazing and the milk was so creamy and frothy!
@alexandroskeranidis8654 Yes, i believe it's pretty good for home use. Most likely, you have a defective unit. But do update me on your progress and I am interested to find out how it works out for you.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore i will do it! Thanks again for your answer and help! Unfortunately I don't other social media accounts to follow you and send you a video the next days but I will try to find you on social media from friend's accounts! I wish you the best and a beautiful and healthy new year
A few days ago I had an appointment at the Smeg to check the machine. The consultant showed me how the machine and the milk foamer work and I told him that my machine was very loud and the milk foamer had defective and he told me that the pump was expected to be broken. I'll order a new one soon. Although I would like to thank you again for your help
Thanks for the review. I am new to this and almost bought it but the promoter at Harvey Norman didn’t manage to make a shot. Quite disappointing and their after sales service was quite lacking when I was asking for another date for their demo. By the way, besides Harvey Norman, where else can I experience this machine in person and probably buy from another distributor? Thanks.
There are other machine better than this and price around the same. If you are interested, you can arrange to come down to my cafe to take a look. Some of our models don't have demo machines and some do. You can drop me an email at speedy3dcreations@gmail.com
Hi CY, I got the egf03, but i have many problem's. I set the grainding level to 0 superfein, got 18gr Coffee with normal tamping, also with normcore tamper. But i have too little pressure and the shot is much too fast also. I don't know what's the point. I hope you can help me.
Hi can you also make a Video showing how to use the single shot filter and using the sungle grind and the single eapresso shot function
Hi, I would like to know if you would recommend this Sonic S7 ? I am currently considering it with flair 58+2
Honestly, I would go for flair 58 instead of sonic S7
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore Thank you very much for the reply; it reinforces my decision. I also think a lot about the flair 58+2 since the ph element makes a huge difference in the preparation phase and consistency in producing a consistent shot. It may be hard to believe, but the flair 58+2 is way more expensive than the complete Sonic S7 bundle set at my local, but the price is definitely worth for the flair.
@TheBumblebee2000 the issue with the Sonic is the heat management. It is just too much of a chore to keep trying to maintain the heat and just pulling a shot.
@ i totally agree, coffee break should be enjoyable not being stressful with the temperature and wasting good coffee bean 😂
@TheBumblebee2000 for that i strongly recommend the Odyssey Argos. It will trump the flair 58 totally.
Thank you so much, sir. I'm trying to discover the hand grinder for my needs : it's crazy! Your vido has helped me. I heard that the K6 was more of a drip coffee grinder, and the K4, an espresso grinder. This is likely why the grind was still too fine from the K4 at the end.
Yes that is true!
Waiting for the data s review
Is Gemilai a good brand, longevity wise? Recently, I noticed one of their model, if I remember correctly, the codename is 3006, Gemilai Owl, really like the footprint and design, just not sure about the quality. Saw a few yt videos about it and liked it. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.
I have DF64 but with the SSP MP. What grind size would you recommend?
For filtered? I do around 60
Yup I meant for this recipe exactly.. what grind do you use ? 60? Thank you for the reply 😊
Very helpful thank you :)
You are welcome and glad the video helps you!
Can you adjust the brew temperature? That seems more important than the steaming control.
It's maintained at around 92 to 93°C. This machine is catered for ppl who appreciate ease of frothing milk and consistently good frothing for beautiful latte art. And to be honest, PID at 92 to 93°C in my opinion, is more than enough to cover most range of coffee except extremely light roast or super dark roast.
Très intéressant, le visuel est superbe.👍 La mouture me semble plus gosse que pour l'expresso, non? Est ce que le résultat est comparable a un café avec la bouilloire italienne?
This is awesome. was there a next video that tests flow with coffee in it? couldnt find that
I will do one soon! It's overdue!
Ah I see. Thank u! It looks like the bomber one was the best with water. Was real curious. 👀
why do you manually turn rather than turning the machine on to test the burrs. is it more damaging to turn on and test this?
Are you able to recommened a high performance basket and/or a bottomless portafilter compatible with this machine?
Good God that espresso machine makes a weird noise!
@@CH-yp5by that comes from the gear pump, like cats purring.
Great Viedo CY, must say that machine was neglected and absolutely filthy and gross. Great to see you brought it back to life 😂😂.

Hi, is this the new version of wendougee or the data s is the new one? Can you do a comparison video if you have the data s
If you are referring to which wendougee espresso machine is released at the latest, then the answer is the Data S. However, the data S is the downgraded version to the Wengougee Space despite its more modern look. In terms of the core performance of geared pump and pressure profiling, they are all awesome and to the point that I wonder why do I still have to pay between 3 to 4k for an Italian/Spanish/German model and get less than the Wendougee. In terms of reliability, I have owned this Wendoeger Space for years, and it's as consistent and fun to use as day 1 when I used it.
We will be show casing the Data S soon once it has arrived in Singapore.
I live in the US. I preordered one from the espresso outlet. They are only delivering it in late Feb. Hopefully you can make more videos comparing these two machines. I agree, the data s seems like a great machine for the price. Hopefully the components are time tested and reliable.
@ck8jx you will love it. Just like i did. Components wise as long as there is no abuse and neglect, it will serve you on equal if not better than other major brands.
@ thanks. Yeah looking forward to playing with it!
