Upper Ticino 2024

On our way back from Valsesia, the water level seemed reasonable to run the upper Ticino above Airolo in Switzerland. Despite the two avalanches and some portages due to trees, this is really a fun and worthwile section to paddle.
We put in in the upper of the two sections and paddle all the way down to the shooting range in Airolo. Gauge 5.5m3; June 2024. Sorry for the sub-par quality with all the water droplets.

Is a really nice section with some great boofs. One of my faves. We did early June.. shame about the tree at bottom.of the little gorge.. and the landslides..we got in at army camp and finish at airolo before the dam..

Hi Andri, nice video as always. I use your videos as a guide to rivers I don't know or remember and they are very helpful. However, the main reason I'm writing is because I'd like to ask where you bought your Gnarvana. I'm desperately trying to buy one and it seems impossible in Europe. Any tip for a secret shop with Jackson kayaks? :) Have a good lines, Jakub

Hey Jakub... I just destroyed mine and it seems really difficult until early September - a new container might arrive then. I got it via a friend... I will ask him.
