You commented on auto-shift trucks mostly now. By having the ECM computer controlling the shift and rpm, they get better emissions and hopefully fuel mileage. But yes, they can help and drive you crazy in the snow or mountains.

It seems, Quality, Mamo Horizon and Bennett. Truck movers won't let you know, if they have any going that way! Company's that's based in Indiana. They seem to have a lot of runs going to California.
@@michelelovesfreedom Pinnacle is ok. Their California runs pay better than the other divisions. There's not much more than a day's training yet they're really strict about logs.
I don't require my self to have one. But, I hear that some states require it. I have never had any trouble with DOT in this area. There is always a first time. My view is, that's one more thing to mess with.
I agree. I guess I would have a portable one in the tow car and if DOT asks say yes. But hopefully like in your situation never have to worry about it. Keep up the good work and go make that dam money
It's good, when you get a truck with diesel in it when you pick it up. New trucks, they charge for fuel. If dead heads are short, you can make money. Sometimes, they can put extra money on a load. $30-100
6-26-19 This week I took home $900 for 4 days. This is after all expenses! Not the best week. I had trouble getting runs in the area I was in. I had to dead head home 758mi. I was having back trouble. Ac was going out on the Honda CRV I use. I made it home in one piece!

I ran paper logs at the time of making this video. I moved over to E logs. I like E logs better.

Your going to make $3- 15 an hour! Probably, works out to 24 cents per mile. Estimates only. I don't keep track of hours!

I tow my own vehicle. I have found that, is what makes me the most money.
What company is it your with ?...do you only run California?
