I was just contacted by truck movers. They want me to hire on. Do you like what you do there and how is the pay. I'll be driving bobtail and singles with my clas B. And how do you get back to your home base. Drive their truck or dolly your personal vehicle back.

That place is so big, it even has its own stop (Laredo North) for Greyhound at the guard shack. I used to drive for Greyhound and I would make a u turn at the roundabout at the end of the street to drop drivers off at TM. Also, NEVER stop for anyone on I35 south of San Antonio. You will get mugged. And the rattlesnakes, they love to hide in bushes.
Truckmovers prematurely terminated my contract and charged me for my last flight back home to Laredo (where I've lived since 2011) - employers (not immigrants) are who you need to watch out for in Laredo.
Except in my case home is also where I picked up my next set of trucks. They terminated me for parking outside their yard to rest for the night (flu-like symtoms after covid immunization.)

I would get set up to do both. Because, sometimes work is very slow with decking. Then, you can fall back on singles.

Team is good. Truck movers is ok. At truck movers if you get a bad dispatcher you will do bad!

That’s new. Used to have to get a taxi up from downtown Laredo. Always sucked watching the yard go by. Lol
