I was a victim of SA by my mother’s 2nd husband from age 12-14. Back in the 80’s there was a lot of victim blaming and I was sooo ashamed, embarrassed utterly emotionally destroyed. I NEVER told ANYONE. Once I was in my 20’s I told my therapist and started the pathway to healing. It still haunts me. I am beyond protective of my children.
I’ve missed many lives being in Australia. I appreciate all that you do Melanie. SA’d their whole childhood. They’ve been inside long enough. Let them free.
I've always said, in healthy famlies, children do not kill their parents. When they do, it shows there was something seriously wrong with the family, and the adults are to blame. They never should have been tried again with no defense allowed.
Someone asked “why didn’t they bring up abuse during trial then?” on another forum. I was very polite and said, it wasn’t allowed. And I remember my mom telling me about a couple women who killed their husbands and got either short sentences or no prison time because of abuse. And some people are still acting like the abuse is a joke. On another channel, several people said, “they’re just going to murder again.” Um how many people did Mike Huckabee pardon as governor of Arkansas for finding Jesus snd they went on to do worse things. One was a sex offender who killed four police officers. Huckabee should be in prison for accessory. I remember when it happened. Yeah, the second trial was the year I graduated from high school. I remember the abuse being mocked on SNL. I think everyone who participated in that alone needs to write Erik and Lyle a huge check, because that contributed to so much of the discourse. Jose Menendez was the 80s version of Diddy. Can anyone honestly say if you are the parent of someone victimized by Diddy, you wouldn’t have gone after him with a knife to castrate him and torture him before making him slowly feel the pain he caused? No. I think we should look at A Time to Kill. Melanie, love you.
The really sad part is victims of child SA experience so much guilt, which the predators play on, that they don’t tell anyone. When you know, you know 😢
The family are hypocrites….they gave them the life sentence. If they told authorities and confronted Jose and kitty I think the outcome would have been different since they were juveniles when at least some family was told.
The judge didn’t allow the SA in the second trial. First trial resulted in a hung jury, the jurors deliberated for months… If you’ve never been SA’d then you should really sit down and not discuss how you think you would handle it. There are multiple reasons people don’t speak up. My abuser told me I wouldn’t ever be allowed to see my grandparents again if I told. That the people that I loved the most at 8 years old would tell me I was dirty, used, disgusting, and they wouldn’t love me. So with all due respect, unless you’ve been through it; sit down and keep your opinions to yourself.

Gypsy then told him that her mom made her have a feeding tube surgery which made her miscarry. Thats why he did what he did to DeeDeee. but Gypsy lied, she wasnt pregnant. You want a link?
