    Something about the way the pilot says, "Reaaaady, hit it!" is just so awesome.

    it is amazing how the pilot can keep talking normally the whole time Adam is grunting..

  • @TheSecretman82
    @TheSecretman82 9 лет назад +15

    Sounds like he's sneezing, but he's not. That's how your supposed to breath to keep from passing out.

    • @fadzleya.rahman7956

      TheSecretman82 Seems like the pilot can still speak normally in that high G.

    • @TheSecretman82
      @TheSecretman82 9 лет назад +5

      ***** He's also been flying at those G's for a long time. His lungs and body are strong enough to keep from passing out without having to do what Adam did.

  • @joebayron

    I gotta give the pilots a woW!! how were they able to talk normally under those high g's?

      Lot's of training and perfected breathing technique. Sadly, even the pros can lose it :( RIP Kojack hamptonroads.com/2008/01/navy-says-blue-angel-pilot-didnt-tense-muscles-crash

    He actually did rather good. One of my friends had an incentive flight in an F-16 and pulled 7.2Gs. My friend didn't pass out but he wasn't able to see at all for a few seconds. Adam did phenomenal during his flight.

    you'd be surprised...experience does actually help A LOT! If Adam had taken a few more flights, got his breathing and tensing cycle down, he may have stayed concious through the entire 7g turn. He actually did fairly well, a lot of people are (ahem, lazy lol) and would have lost it in a 6g loop. from memory 6g's seems to be the bench mark - a lot of people start to lose it there.

    That a jet flying at Mach 1.7 and 200 below the surface of the ground makes one hell of a boom, but only breaks fixed, very cheap window glass. The cups/car windows didn't even move.

  • @DarthMorius

    Yah he is obviously not flying the vehicle himself, for so many reasons. The first being that he has almost no real flight training and definitely doesn't have his pilot license. And if you remember the flight simulator episode, the reason he takes part is because the idea was the someone with no flight experience could land an airliner with only help from the flight tower. Those are just some hard facts, in addition to the obvious reasons of needing highly specialized training to fly this bird.

  • @DarthMorius
    @DarthMorius 15 лет назад

    I do realize this, but some child had posted regarding how insane it was for him to just hop in a plane and take off, I was just pointing out some reasons why that wasn't true, instead of simply saying "no your wrong"

  • @RedneckSniper832

    It's called the Hick Maneuver, Saying Hick along with controlling breath plus straining the lower muscles keeps the blood from passing through the body and into the brain. Strain the muscles, tense the diaphragm, hick, breath out, hick, breathe out. Along with practice and training pilots do it without even noticing it. Out of flight school pilots must pass through i think 8G's without passing out. The human can only withstand 9G's.

    are you serious? Well, 1 G is one time the force of gravity. so like 5 Gs would be 5 times the force of gravity. You feel that when you are doing some fast and tight turns in a fighter jet or on a rollercoaster. Any time theres acceleration really, even in your car.
