I never met Grant, but through television I was let in for a moment to witness what the very definition of a “good man” is/was. The world is lessened by his passing😢
Grant was one of us from the Star Wars generation, who saw the original trilogy in the theaters,
and eventually lived the dream of working at ILM and on the next set of star wars movies.
He didn't just PLAY with star wars toys, he MADE star wars toys.
When they did the walk through of his storage, it felt like he was following with them, just off camera.
We had a lot of deaths from 2020 on, but his and Chadwick Bosmen hurt the most.
imahara was like 7 years old when the original star wars hit theathers, i doubt he watched that movie in back in the late 70`s
@@NOway264 Dude, back in the day, if you could move under your own power, you GOT yourself to the theater and watched Star Wars. 7 is like the BEST age range to see the movie, and this was in an era where parents didn't need to know where we were at any point in time, so going to matinees with friends... if you had the cash, was a THING.
It also became a THING of, who saw the movie the most times in the theater. It became a contest.
@@AC3handle I still have my doubts that a 7 year old would have had the chance to see this movie since back in the 70's parents actually had responsibility.
@@NOway264 Yeaaaaahhh...no.
Back then, elementary school for us was a mile or so away, so I got to walk that EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
For HS, it was either bus or bike.
Lord help me if I forgot my key or lost it or something.
I'd have to wait till the parent came home.
Responsible...shiiiiiiit. is that what you call it when they come home drunk on friday night and if I happened to be awake, get yelled at for the next hour and a half as to WHY I wasn't doing good in school or getting my room cleaned?
@@AC3handle Anecdotal evidence.... If you look at hard facts, society worked better back then althoug it was already deteriorating since the 60's
There are still good people on this planet, Grant was one of them ❤
I'm just going to comment on how much a friend Grant felt like to me. I grew up watching him from a very young age and he was always my favorite. I could not believe it when he passed at such a young age. He and the whole buster crew are still a mainstay in my home. I wish his family and friends all the best.
Grant Imahara brought a lot of charisma to Mythbusters and will be missed deeply. May he rest in paradise 🙏🏼
Grant, may you "Rest in Peace". It's hard to believe you are gone. You will never be forgotten.
Many people I know in 2020-2022 were vx harmed. Within days of vx. Several had strokes. Others cancer. Many heavy brain fog. I don't know about you but I know exactly what caused Grant's death (the industry demanded it and the timing is there). More people should hold those that forced it upon our society accountable and thus those that suffered can be compensated. Grant was an amazing person who died way too soon!
Believe it or not, people have died of aneurysms long before the pandemic. Those located in the brain are quite difficult to diagnose ahead of time, especially in young and otherwise healthy people. The reason is that often, the first symptom is the rupture of the blood vessel. So young and healthy people are usually completely unaware they even had them.
I watched until the end.
I also never missed a single Mythbusters episode. Grant was one of my favourite cast members and I was truly distressed when I heard of his untimely death. There’s a lot of us fans out there … it was a fantastic series and could have gone on forever … in my dreams. 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
Why was half the video a completely different topic?
This is just a soulless money mill, even the title "untold truth" then goes on to read Grant's Wikipedia
They just wanted to reach the 10min mark for for advertising.
@@ashleypasswater8821 yeah smells of that
Pretty sure this is a gpt script
Why are you a One Track Pony? You eat only your taste of hay, do you? Wake up, maybe? Are you only eleven years young, maybe?
I watched until the end. Grant was a great engineer, a wonderful person, and an inspiration to a generation of children that they can achieve their dreams. RIP Grant- we miss you.
I watched to the end. I've been bingeing MythBusters the past few months and just having tons of funs.
RIP Grant.
Sadly I only found out about Grant's death a year ago when browsing online. Such a shame, he was a great guy. He deserved a good, long, fruitful life. Much missed still.
As I have heard it expressed, Jamie and Adam had a good working relationship because they each contributed talents and abilities the other didn't possess as strongly and between the two of them, that made an excellent professional combination, but outside of work, they really had no desire to spend time with each other because they were just two different people. They still regularly see each other at joint personal appearances and, afaik, can still shake hands and sit down to dinner, but since the show, they have each taken their own paths.
Just wanted to point it out because you mentioned it, but according to Adam, they've never actually had dinner together because of that lack of desire of being friends 😅

i met him at Wondercon in Anaheim back in 2014.
i was just walking through the main hall, when i saw a small group in a corner wearing battlestar galactica (Ron Moore version) regalia. and among them was Grant. i just had to have a picture with the guy. told him i was an engineer too.
i wish i had all the time in the world to talk to the guy. but that would have been just impossible.
it’s just nice to know that your idol is also very much a geeky nerd much like yourself.
Kari Bryon 🤣 - that aside, yes i do miss him. The fact that his peers still shed a tear when recalling him just shows how we lost a good person too soon.
I''ve been randomly watching MythBusters recently, completely unaware that Grant has passed until I came across this video. Watching the rest just won't be the same :(
I was totally shock when I heard Grand passed away. He was totally the coolest American I respected. I am really saddened when I first heard that he is gone. It just shows that, no matter who we are, death smiles at us all. I watch Mysthbusters every day, every time I see you I will be reminded that you, along with Eric Gates are no longer with us. You will certainly be missed Grant!
I watched till the end. Mythbusters was one of my all-time favorite TV shows. Great behind-the-scenes information. Rest in peace, Grant. The world misses you.
I’m from the town of Esparto that was shaken by the explosion lol I was in 7th grade at the time, the entire building shook and our teacher started freaking out, when I found out it was because of a mythbusters test I geeked out because I watched that show religiously growing up. Love the cast and miss grant dearly ❤
I watched until the end. I was so stunned when I heard of his death. He was an amazing man and will be missed, we need more like him.
Grant Imahara was one of the reasons I kept watching Mythbusters. Even on the show you could tell he had a heart of gold and that he had lots of true friends.
Grant was also on* Star Trek Continues (2013-2017) as Sulu 🖖
*all 11 episodes
Gee, I once had an aneurysm in my thumb. I had surgery and they could fix it. But inside your brain that same problem would be far more complicated. Poor Grant, it is not fair. He was such a geat person! All those Mythbusters have that sparkle. So, we are missing him, even years later.
Did thumb hurt?
What a tragedy. Grant was my favorite on Mithbusters. His expertise was top shelf. Will miss him. 😢🙏
We all watched it to the end and think of Grant with sorrow.
I watched till the end. Loved Grant. Still waiting to hear the “untold truth”. There was nothing here about his death that hadn’t already been reported.
Grant will always be missed RIP Grant
I watched to the end. Grant was a legend. Rip.
I actually got to meet him by accident at a nearby restaurant during a weekend at WonderCon in San Francisco. I wanted to shake his hand, but I told him I didn't want to get lemon all over his hand (I was drinking Diet Coke). He was such a genuinely warm and friendly person (he was also dressed as Doctor Who).
I watched till the end.
Respect for his family and for Grant.
Grant did good on the TOS reboot. Long live his memory!
Hits different when you realize Grant's death was due to a botched brain aneurysm surgery.
1:50 Linda Wolkovitch is mentioned but Kari Byron is pictured 🤔 very confusing.
Still shocked Grant is gone loved the show . RIP buddy you are still missed.😢
I watched till the end , he was a Grate robotasist and a talented myth buster as well as an interesting personality.

They indeed tested the myth of the icy projetil that, in hipothesis, could be used against FK
Oh wow i did not know he was dead, man it's always shocking somehow when it's someone you've watched on tv/RUclips.
Why are so many youtube channels adding annoying loud pops to every graphic thats added? Do you think we wont notice them with out? Please stop!!
WRONG TITLE, impressive man I admit, but only 1 minute in the middle said why he died.
I still want to cry every time i watch Mythbusters

Loved the show, fond memories of watching it with my daughter. She teaches science and maths in high school now.
I watched till the end. I didn't even know he had passed. Now I'm sad...
RIP. Grant Imahara. on the other hand as usual with most youtube channels like this its clickbait there is absolutely nothing in it that is untold about his death, everything in it has been published many times over the years since his death.
I watched until the end ("Till" is something farmers do to the ground, btw)
He became the Q! what an awesome life and big tragedy.
I often go back and watch the Tested video where Adam visits his shop. Man was he a cool dude and wish I had of met him.
I watched till the end. The B-team always seemed be having fun and Grant was a big part of that.
Wow! I didn't Know on till just now that Grant Imahara past away! So sad He will be missed!
I watched
I was taken by surprise when I fiund out Grant had died (spent awhile not watching even news)
He end hit close to home as a coworker from a company I worked at made me feel how unfair life is because this coworker was also a very nice guy who fought brain cancer, seemed to go into remission only for it to return even more aggressively, he left behind a wife and I believe two children.
Both cut down in the prime of their lives. Both nice and kind but ripped from friends and family too soon.
Definitely watched to the end, RIP Grant!!!!!!!!!!!
I wayched until the end. Grant was the same age as myself. I always enjoyed his work on Mythbusters. What a shame he was taken too soon.
He left us too early God love and bless him👍👍
Lots of us miss Grant , plus he really new how to live life, he even filmed some StarTrek Fan fiction episodes as Sulu , the voice actor that played Edward Elric on "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood" , Vic M he played the part of Captain Kirk along side Grant's Mr Sulu , , , ,he died so young, so talented , , , , Universe is Rotten , ,😢
Grant is one of those celebrity passings that still doesnt feel real.
He replaced Jessi combs , who has also passed on
They were both great people
I watched to the end
Never met him.
Never will either.
Fun fact. People you don't know die all the time. One day it's gonna be our turn. Don't sweat it. 2 or 300 years from now, nobody is going to remember you were ever even a thing.
Thanks for sharing this
U do realize that was Kari Byron and not the producer right?!
I watched till the end!

awful voice over - is this a bot or just an awfully read script, or were you in a hurry? you want to show respect to someone , make their story listenable - no, sadly, despite being a fan of Grant and the MBs,I didn't watch to the end - unbearable...
I watched to the end.
I didn't watch to the end.... just wanted to know what killed him.😞
You said "Linda Wolkavitch" while showing Kari Bryon.. 0/10 vid.
