I already knew how to do RAR's but your other video taught me how to do attack cancel bairs. Am still pretty new to the game but attack cancel bairs have improved my gameplay tremendously since I learned them. Crazy how many characters benefit from it.

Good stuff! You can also do attack cancel back air by starting with a dash and then inputting tilt in the opposite direction together with jump. Is that not as good as tilt-first?
its really all personal preference, when im trying to reverse out of a dash i prefer to RAR instead of AC but both work fine! 👍🏽

Instead what I did was jump first, then immediately did a NAIR, is that the same thing or is my attack slower compared to attacking first, then jumping.
is it possible to just input a turnaround before doing a back air instead of attack canceling? Seems doable
Hey, thank you so much for all of your great videos, I like to watch them, but I always didn't understand how to do an upside-down back air, Whenever I try a back air comes in the wrong direction or a forward air comes in the right direction. Of course it works sometimes, but it often happens that I want to do a combo and then just get the wrong attack, I've already practiced it many times, but i'm still not getting it right.
it’s all about timing and practice! both Attack Canceling and RAR’ing can help in getting a quick reverse back air out! as you saw they both have their pros and cons so practice both until you got it down to a science! you can do this!
This is the new l cancel, only instead of landing its for rising attacks
Attack cancel bair is literally the difference between high level smash and normal level. But... it's ridiculously hard to do, I can't get the timing down.
I feel the difference and it's sad that I can't get it down. l understand how pros are better, it's like Full momentum version of bair.

Is it normal to find the standing reverse aerial to be so hard. I get it sometimes but I don’t get it the other times. I always seem to cancel into back air but never go forward with it like you do. If you’re facing right: do you press left tilt then immediately press jump and right together? Or jump and left together then right on the left stick?
i tap c stick to the opposite direction (in this case left) and buffer jump while holding forward on the analog stick 👍🏽
@@CozyyPR buffering jump is holding jump as soon as you hit the c stick?
yea buffering moves means you hold them while in the act of another move, so that they come out as soon as possible 👍🏽

What makes using a trigger to jump easier rather than X/y?
I've been struggling with Jair (Chrom) using trigger. So I just decided to use Y
it allows you to do frame 1 aerials more consistently and comfortably because by hitting L to jump, you still have both thumbs available (left on the analog, right on c stick or A/B buttons). it just makes it a lot easier because jumping with X forces you to use your right thumb making you have to quickly slide to the A or c stick to perform an aerial! unless u use claw grip which then it doesnt matter 😁

You've probably realized this after a year, but it helps immensely for Zard's backthrow -> backair.
yo so I main zss and palu and I tried joker but do you think he is better then zss.
Imo they are pretty evenly matched, Zss might struggle a little more against smaller character depending on how you play and it might be a little harder to approach with joker since you're way more reliant on good spacing.
They are both really fun to play and solo-mainable so it really depends on what you like to do.

It’s really personal preference at the end of the day. I used to play joker and decided to try zss one day and found right away that she clicks with me WAY better than joker. As for performance I think that depends on the person because zss can definitely hold her own
Every attempt makes me do a nair in the opposite direction
that happens sometimes if you slightly mistime the input, keep practicing and be patient and you’ll start to get it more consistently 👍🏽
I never attack cancel. I always do instant back air because it’s way easier.

There isn't much people that know about it because every pro uses a GC
This shit is not easy man. That timing of not hitting jump the same frame as the tilt is very hard for me. Just the normal cancel is difficult
This is not worth it with my characters lol
