Not only is Venti the king of crowd control, but he also batteries the rest of the team quite well with his Ascension 4 passive granting 15 energy to him as well as any character matching the element absorbed by his burst. Not to mention you can also tack on Favonius if you don't care as much for his personal damage, and he can get fairly close to Raiden's battery potential if you funnel particles correctly. Stack that on top of Viridescent shred and his ludicrous amount of cc, and he's just a generally good support that a lot of teams can slot in as a flex pick.
Honestly he was broken. MHY had to change spiral abyss permanently just to nerf venti.
@@kainobre831 People just don't do a lot with Venti and only build him as a VV carrier. I'd say, Dendro arrival makes his team vary now, he is probably the only archon so far that can deal multiple or cause most reactions by mimicking other elements. People only see him as a Vacuum but they forgot that his AoE is massive and so even if enemies aren't suckable, they can still take damage from his Q.
Compared to Kazuha or Sucrose, Venti's kit is much more oriented towards damage dealing so building him with crit is definitely a good way. Or build him like you build hybrid Kazuha (Atk with a bit of EM and crit). My favorite team is probably aggravate team for him.
What Im saying here by no means to make Venti meta. His dps team is probably in the same category as Thundering Furry Razor, a side fun team that works.

As a mobile player with bad ping (250ms to 600ms), zhongli is no 1., next is raiden, nahida and venti
Bad ping would only affect you in coop so I dont see the issue.
@TheDaglers every action you do, and every status effect, damage indication or change of active character has a delay of half a second in 200ms and about 1 second delay or more for 400ms to 600ms. so if your try to i-frame, you die and you will have a delay before you know your character died. Also, monsters in abyss or any domain spawn with a delay of 6 to 10 seconds. Multi waves will destroy your abyss run. The worst i had was burning 15 seconds of the abyss time just to wait for the mosters to spawn. Also i dont play co-op
I actually benched Zhongli because I wanted to learn how to properly dodge XD He really makes the game way too easy. Also I'm personally prioritizing Venti because 1. I don't really care about abyss and 2. GOD I LOVE HIM.

@@ra6765 it’s more like dendro is broken and nahida buffs dendro reactions a lot + easy to use/apply dendro + also really good damage. The fact that she makes hyperbloom a little too easy to play plus the reaction is easier to pull off and beat abyss than even raiden sometimes. Even if nahida is stronger and more valuable raiden is still strong and valuable and I enjoy playing her so yea.

Going for another nahida but raiden copies also seems tempting. Zhongli is good at c0 as I don't use him that much outside of abyss and venti I already have kazuha

They might seem similar, but they are used for very different teams and situations
@@oliviaaargh no that's nowhere near the same thing. Childe can move but he's got a high uptime while ayato stays in place and does his combos in one spot
Kazuha is way better than venti in many ways and they work more similar so you need to find a better comparison and venti fell off fast. Hope you aren't the type who compares ganyu and ayaka when shehe exists or xuinquu and yelan
@@ivanbluecool Kazuha and venti peform two vastly different roles. Kazuha is a traditional support who has buffing inside his kit. Venti is a pure cc bot who also works as a battery. Venti only "fell" off because of the way abyss has been structured in reality kazuha had nothing to do with venti falling off since he would've "fell" off no matter what.

Kazuha doesn't work similarly to Venti, if anything, he's similar to Sucrose. Kazuha and Venti are just different.
In mobbing chambers where there are like 15 enemies, ESPECIALLY if they spawn on separate waves, Venti will be better, since his burst keeps grouping the enemies, while Kazuha can only group one wave at a time.
Venti hasn't fell off as much as you like to pretend. Especially now that we left the Inazuma phase, all Sumeru enemies except for Consecrated Beasts can get sucked in by Venti's burst, and the samurai and Spectres got nerfed, so they're also suckable now. (Although the samurai are a little tougher, they still get slightly pulled in.)
And yes, Ganyu is comparable to Ayaka.
Ayaka is generally better, but that doesn't change the fact that Ganyu is not far behind, and is better against waves of multiple enemies.
Xingqiu is just better than Yelan, period. They deal almost the same damage (with one being better than the other in very specific situations, but they are similar overall), but Xingqiu has 49% damage reduction, basically doubling your HP, interruption resistence, extremely superior Hydro application, is more accessible than Yelan, needs less Energy Recharge, allowing him to build more damage, his burst lasts longer AND provides healing.
The only thing Yelan could have over him is her ascension passive that buffs your active character, but even then, that doesn't make her better than running Xingqiu alone or him along with her. (Only teams that use just her and not Xingqiu are some Yoimiya teams, but even then right, who plays Yoimiya 😂)

Started playing the game for Zhongli and finally got him with Nahida being the next by pure accident. It’s solidified my decision to always go for Archon characters in the future. It helps that they’re all great characters too
I only played for half a year and have Raiden who absolutely improved my teams, going for Nahida now but I'm in the biggest need of Zhongli since I'm a Scara main who sucks at dodging, hopefully he'll have a rerun soon
Every avaliable archon is nice to get imo, I remember people still malding say get Kazu over Venti ignoring that have them both (plus Surcose) will help you alot since most Spiral Abyss have many enemies and they often seperate pretty far. Zhongli is still pretty nice to have due to his shield last long and deflect some enemy attack that might downright unavoidable due to stamina limit. Raiden is the best energy battery and Nahida still the best dendro support.
Already got Raiden Shogun. Going for Nahida next, and then Zhongli, Venti, and Focalor, depending on their order of reruns/debut.
The only Archon that I currently have is Raiden Shogun, and I'm fine with that because the others are not to my liking (at least from a gameplay perspective, which plays a huge role in what characters I pull/skip). Raiden currently sits at C1, and I'm honestly thinking of getting her C2 the next time she comes around (just hope she isn't right next to Focalors or something).

for the people that were told venti is bad; Venti's an anemo who has access to VV set; an amazing burst with decent energy cost that can almost infinitely group enemies with enough ER; great for exploring; a drunk bard; and the funniest archon ever.
Plus the fact that MHY had to change abyss forever just to nerf venti. When you can suck enemies into his burst, he is unrivalled.

if you are a beginner, you should get kazuha but only venti can give you the happiness of seeing a lot of numbers coming out.
I have all the current playable archons at C0. I use all of them pretty frequently. People really tend to sleep on how useful Venti actually is, especially in combat focused events.
Constellations on the archons are, imo, overkill for the game's content. I would much rather have more characters for more variety in team building than higher numbers via constellations on one character.
Definitely agree cons and weapons are a luxury but not really necessary. Anyone can pull for meta units and clear the abyss with C0 4 star weapons, After that there isn't much of a challenge, if you can clear abyss you can most likely clear all events pretty easily.
I wasn't pulling for nahida when she was released. I was rooting for bennett constellation but suddenly, she appeared on one of my wishes. Above expectations, she is the best archon for me.
ima be getting Nahida and then try to get Engulfing Lightning whenever Raiden returns.
Nahida was painful on her debut because against all odds I got 5 star on non pity for the first time just to get my first mona. Between then and next update I've pulled Raiden and accidentally pulled cyno while trying to C2 Bennett. I take this as a sign that I will get her

@@Gamfluent dendro traveler is broken too. I have built dendro traveler I don't think I'll need Nahida. But I desperately need kazuha even though I have sucrose.
Sucrose can't replace kazuha but Dendro traveler can replace Nahida.
@General_Cyno Bro i have both nahida and kazuha and believe me. You will not regret pulling nahida because she is really op. Kazuha is so good both for abyss and overworld.

Saved up everything for Raiden until her rerun. Managed to get her C3 and her signature weapon. Certainly my 1# favorite archon.
Honestly as someone who has all of them. They're all pretty good but I'm going for c2 Nahida and then waiting for the next Archon
i have 3/4 of them (no venti) but i gotta say, zhongli is the one char i use in EVERY team
i mean before since i was a eula main for over a year i used raiden a lot and when i got nahida i used her a lot (since keqing main at the time) but in every single one of the teams i used zhongli lol
I have all of them and everyone excels at their job, Nahida is a great Dendro Applicator and has a beautiful burst, Raiden is also a great Electro Applicator plus she can be your main DPS, Zhongli has great shield and good burst, & Venti is the greatest in crowd control, plus he's still great for exploration, Kazuha maybe a great substitute for Venti but Venti has a wider range of cc plus, he's also a good dodger, just hold his E and you can fly longer compared to Kazuha & Wanderer and you can even dodge Raiden Boss' attacks. Sorry for defending Venti too much but some here in the comments just doesn't know how to use Venti properly and degrades him too much. Pls people, Venti started to walk so that other Anemo characters can run.
For me the anemo archon is kazuha, because he is badass in every aspect......from pick up sword against Raiden shogen upto the best anemo executer than venti himself.

I'm an archon collector so I have them all. Zhongli is my favorite though. As a 1.0 player, he's been my fave since the beginning and I've been slowly collecting his constellations. He's sitting at C3 right now~! :D My goal is to get him to C6 (I pull one copy every rerun).

Having Venti, Zhongli at C0, then Raiden c3 and Nahida c2 I will say all of them are unique and future proof. I always priorities archons and harbingers.
Personality, I believe Zhongli shield is just to good because of that he is my favourite and the most used of all archons.
Simple answer all of them. But Zhongli will make you bad at the game. While is very comfortable to play with his protection. You need to learn avoiding attacks. I am trying to play without him now and i die every 10 seconds
Hmmm... Imho Zhongli makes "bad" at the game only those who have him since their debut and don't need two teams because the abyss doesn't interest them.
I mean, yes, when I use him I don't dodge anything and go into Unga Bunga mode with my Geo team but that doesn't stop me from adapting to my second team and healing myself when needed. Anyway the heal from Kuki or Bennet are part of the rotation so it's rare to see my mdps health bar in the red.
@@Gonzora Or just use Layla in the second team and you dont need to dodge anything anymore.
I would say its the 2nd shield in the game on which you can rely on. It can take a lot of dmg with 100% uptime. Her bonus is also a good cryo apply.
My abyss teams are C3 Raiden hyper/national and Nahida/Alhaitham Quickbloom, I'm planning on getting C2 Nahida in a couple of days, I still use Venti in floors 9-10 and now I only use Zhongli for weekly boss battles, I have really good hydro characters so I'm curious as to what the new archon will bring to the table
My brother and I both play Genshin a lot, and he is planning on getting Nahida because his main team is Quickbloom. I have yet to use much Dendro but I'm debating whether I should pull for her as well. She seems like such a good unit that it would be hard to pass up.

I have all Archons except Venti so I'll pull him maybe after I after 4.3 because I want to get Focalors, Scaramouche, upcoming Harbinger. Archons get a rerun every patch so its not a big deal.

Raiden Shogun, in my opinion, is the best Archon to have. To me, the most annoying thing in Genshin Impact is energy management. You can have all the R5 weapons and high crit artifacts in the world but if you don't have enough energy to use your Burst and Skill, your rotation always feels clunky. Having Raiden Shogun in your team basically eliminates that. Her energy battery is so good that you can just spam your character's burst again and again which makes your game play more flashy. Even with average artifacts and weapon, because you're able to spam your moves, you actually do very good damage.
The second most annoying thing in Genshin Impact to me is survivability. You need a good healer or shielder in your team if you want to sustain your team without having to constantly create food. And you're screw if you do the Abyss without survivability. This is why I love Zhongli. He's the best shield so you can just face tank everything. This makes your playstyle a lot more relax and you don't get punish as much for making little mistakes. Not to mention that his skill provide sub dps and elemental shred which makes him a pretty good support as well.
Venti is my third recommendation. Yes he's not really meta. Yes he doesn't do that much dps and he's not a game changer. But Venti will make your quality of life in the game so much better. He helps you clear mobs super fast which makes him super useful for Resins Quest along with Daily quests. You can clear those tedious things within minutes if you have Venti. But as we all know, it's better to get Kazuha. A fact that I hate. I hate the fact that they made Kazuha kit better than Venti's. If they screw Zhongli over, all hell breaks lose. But it's okay to screw Venti over again and again.
Nahida is probably my last recommendation. Yes she is very useful in a lot of team comps. Yes she has a lot of good points like sub dps, dendro application, EM buff, etc. And she is definitely meta. But having her on your team doesn't really change your playstyle much. You may get a high boost in dps and utility but you'll still have to build for energy and survivability as well as dodge enemies attack. To simply put it, you're just playing the game with extra damage. It doesn't change your game play.

If you have raiden on your team, then there's no need for other dps even in c0. My every raiden team team deals more dmg (at c0 catch) thn the other dps team with there signature weapons. And her ER is the best build even as dps. When playing with eula raiden team, it's feel like I'm playing double dps in one team....

ventis my first five star and i usually struggle with inazuma bosses so kazuha was out of the question no matter how much my friend hyped him for me before i even started playing and yes i did skip kazuha as well venti was just easier to build and lv up at the time
Tbh just get em all, if there's an archon on a banner then just pull for em with the exception of Venti i think kazuha is more fun to play with and is just as good as venti in most cases and even better in other cases, Nahida is getting a rerun in a few days so im pulling for her and then im just gonna keep saving for the Hydro archon, no doubt they're gonna be the best hydro character in the game.
I'm just praying that Raiden doesn't have a rerun banner so soon after Nahida 😭 I need both

Main account has all 4 archons, I think I use Nahida a lot and Raiden on floor 12 or events.
Alt account was aiming for Zhongli as Hu Tao is unplayable without a shielder, but as I also have Al-haithum and guaranteed the next 5 star I will go for Nahida then try to get Zhongli on a re run. Raiden is great but sometime she feels boring, Venti is good but not on floor 12 so I rather have kazuha.
My Hu Tao who never has shielders in her teams yet only dies 2 out of 10 times she’s fighting: 🌚
@@rheamartin4529 Exactly. Hutao is the dps I play the most alongside Itto, and I never find myself needing a shield (I play Funerational, Hutao c0 herself, Yelan c0, Xingqiu c4 and Xiangling c3). Honestly just a skill issue, Xingqiu's damage reduction adn the healing from her burst is enough...
I have all of them except Venti and want to get him next rerun. Zhongli and Nahida are amazing and are always in my abyss teams. I also have Raiden, but I haven't used her in over a year. She may be good, but I just don't like her. I would trade my Raiden away for a Venti any day of the week. I still want to collect all the archons though.
For me It's Raiden, zhong li, nahida, then venti. Nahida is only that low for me because I don't like needing to swap back into her all the time.
Not swapping back her is what makes her so overpowered. Her elemental skill allows her to apply dendro off-field and have 5 second cooldown with 25 second uptime in multiple enemies, not to mention it deals huge damage and scales purely on EM making her arguably the best support in the entire game.

Got nahida - absolutely broken, 100% recommend. Going for Zhongli, because he’s my favourite archon. I’m going to try to not use his shield too much because I wanna stay good at dodging, but I’ll try build him physical or burst dmg. I know it may not be the best idea - but the best thing to do is to have fun with the game - so pull who you want, any character can be good if you build them properly :)
Nahida is truly broken. Hyperbloom becomes even more broken with her with the other reactions being boosted by her skill and burst.
I have C1 Venti, C3 Raiden and C3 Nahida. I have enough saved up now to garantee a C1 Furina but I'm shooting for a C3 Furina. I stopped pulling for non archons when Raiden released and I have zero regrets. The reality is that Raiden and Nahida completely change the game. Added on top of that they will last longer for power creep than standard 5 star units. I'm just going to C6 the archons and use the stable of characters I already have.

i never view nahida as a support but a on-field dps. she gets benefits from her burst more than any unit in the game (bonus crit, em, %dmg bonus). furthermore her burst loves dendro/pyro/electro and hates hydro drivers and off-field seed triggers. lastly, her skill has short cd like most on-field dpses
Hates hydro drivers? She works well with units like Ayato, Chile and even on-field Kokomi really well though? Especially in bloom related teams since it's really flexible and just changes your playstyle with her.
@@Eternity116 hydro drivers usually dont need em buff unless they are in nilou bloom. on the other hand, pyro, electro, and dendro units need em like they need oxygen. in general usecase, hydros are just there to create seeds for hyperbloom or burgeon. em is meaningless to them
@@vht1 That's fair, her em buff really only applies to a select few. Sometimes a burst buff to some teams.

Nahida is not good for multiple phase battles because she kills the mobs so fast that she needs to use her E again
If you are lazy go for the Geo daddy for that beefy shield.
If you want to annihilate everything go for raiden
If you want to prog unlimited dendro reactions go for raddish archon.

I have all 4 Archons and I rarely use Venti, if at all, Nahida I use in Domains mostly, but my main two are Zhongli and Raiden Shogun, the former for his shields and I have an R5 Fav Lance on him for Burst recharge, the latter for dps, mine has her weapon and she's currently level 80
I don't have nahida. And i use venti for fun. He's on R5 stringless and yes my main two are also zhongli with homa and raiden with EL. Both are level 90 and double crowned.

Which Archon should you pull? All of them! 4 out of 4 so far are some of the best characters in the game.
Playing with archons is fun (except raiden she is so boring)
i say pull for nahida or raiden. kazuha could replace venti since he has better crowd control and zhongli makes the too easy and makes you bad at dodging.
IMO everyone but Venti is worth, I just use him when the defense monolith is in the abyss (though with Nahida he becomes unnecessary if you also have Kazuha).
Nahida≥Raiden>Zhongli>>Venti.

Since I have the 4, I would put
1.Nahida
2.Raiden
3.Venti
4.Zhongli
The only archon that i don't have right now is zhongli so i am going for him.(yes i got lucky and got the remaining three archons so plz don't comment like should pull for him or her, because i am f2p and i only started playing from 2.9 update)
Gods or archons people may call them. Yet they become support in game
If going for the overworld Zhongli and Raiden is the best to get. If you're building an abyss team Nahida and Raiden would be the best one to pull respectively. Venti I think is situational.
Venti is very good in overworld because of his hold E, Also
zhongli is very good in most abyss since he have a universal resistance shed and unlimited interruption resistance most of the time.
Venti makes doing daily commissions and ley lines so much faster
Get Kazuha instead of Venti. Zhongli isn’t necessary, but very nice to have. Get the shogun and Nahida, they’re great!
Only archon I don't have is Venti, lost 50/50 on my original banner and reruns
