Farah Khan's husband directed this movie and like you said he does made this film look so beautiful and visually stunning but i guess the script probably was written for his wife to direct initially but he went like nah man if she can do it so can i heck this will be my directorial debut magnum opus. Then he made Joker which was even worse (With Akshay not J Pheonix. that movie is a perfect candidate for your review by the way)...i still believe given a good script he can actually make a phenomenal film but he just disappeared.

Despite having weird script, the basic plot is relatable and emotional scenes do work. I also loved the artistic effects put into certain scenes- like when Salman gets to know that Piya is now engaged to Agastya the window in bg shatters!
Before this movie I used to think that Divorce and Child custody issue goes hand by hand. Isn't hiding child from your spouse is illegal or maybe not, Not sure about anything anymore.
You are not wrong from legal perspective, as far as I know. As for the movie, the divorce papers were used by her brother, sent to both of them unaware that they were being scammed
The one movie where Salman bhai actually acts properly and it sadly was a flop financially cause of SRK's Don. 😭😂 It's a true musical in the sense and I believe it's severely underrated. Do agree there is some script / plot issues which you higlighted on point here and there but the performances from the leads and the songs relating directly to move forward the plot did carry through back then when I enjoyed the movie as a kid and revisiting the movie today after a long while. 3:51 had me dead lol.
When I was a kid I always think that agar friends ko India mein agar dhang se remake karna tha toh Ideal casting should have been Bhai as Joey Amir or Shahrukh as Chandler and Akshay as Ross Monica mein you should have Raveena , Rachel ke liye Kareena should be the best choice and for phoebe they should have gone for Either Tabu or Juhi. Why on Earth zee tv went for MTV strugglers at that time still blows my mind. I mean agar proposal leke in sab bade actors ke pass jaate along with DVDs (Apparently kaafi pictures ki writing bhi aise hi hoti hai) toh atleast half of them would have agreed to work in that.

Despite its flaws, I still feel this movie deserved more than what it got. The songs were beautiful, the story was engaging, and the ending was very satisfying, jahaan sabh kuchh bohot conveniently thheek ho jata hai aur koi permanently dukhi nahi rehta.😂 Edit: Pyaar Impossible is another one of thos guilty pleasure movies that derved a bit of more attention. /Srs
Hey don't know if you are reading this or not but i recently watched this movie. The cast, the bgm, acting everything was on pount. Yeah there were some glitch in the story but over all this movie is full package entertainment.
Don't you think it was a out of box movie for indian cinema . The characters were deliberately put in that way The first song in which they show the love story was not at all creepy, it was meant to represented in that way. Yess, the visuals they made for "bauna" were not at all good and same for the space scenes.

Despite its flaws, I still feel this movie deserved more than what it got. The songs were beautiful, the story was engaging, and the ending was very satisfying, jahaan sabh kuchh bohot conveniently thheek ho jata hai aur koi permanently dukhi nahi rehta.😂

Yess, the visuals they made for "bauna" were not at all good and same for the space scenes.
