Funny how today, all student movies literally get "inspired" by this movie like SOTY1, SOTY2 and even to some extent Chicchore. Considering the lack of the school/college sub-genre in Indian cinema, this movie somehow feels special

Hey @Quarter Ticket Show, at 3:32 Milind Soman did not reject the role. Intact they shot the entire movie except climax with Milind Soman.. even the actress was Girija Shettar and not Ayesha Jhulka.. however Aamir and Mansoor Khan were not convinced with the output and hence decided to reshoot the entire movie by removing Milind Soman and Shettar(not available due to date issues) who were replaced with Deepak Tijori and Ayesha Jhulka respectively..
Fun fact: Akshay Kumar auditioned for the role of Shekhar as well..

One of my favorite movies, had everything, good acting, songs, plotline, romance, thrill, awesome and satisfying climax. Today YOU can make fun of it and make it looks bad in hatred and boycott time, but it holds special place in every 90's kids heart. Pehla Nasha song and Aamir's swooning and swaying is memories locked in our heart, no matter how much you roast this movie, but it will always remain special. ALWAYS!!
