I had sent him a text explaining what I was going to be doing, and I referred to the song as the instant theme song and anthem for that day. First time I heard this was on Hee Haw. The whole family cracked up when he got to the chorus. Roy Clark had us all in that melancholy state and he suddenly flips the script. It was surprising and hilarious.
