    That's a nice setup. I like how the battery goes in from the bottom and fits a 3s.

    took the 3S Arrma BLX brushless sysytem from my Senton 4x4 and slapped it in my gorgon, running a 17T pinion, it is doing over 45mph and wheelies as long as i hold the trigger. Sent off bmx jumps and nothing has broken except the body. I used some drywall tape, shoe goo and gorilla tape to stiffen the body and reinforce it. the thing is proving to be one durable and rugged ass RC!

      Whatever brings you joy, but think about this. 50 mph is 73 feet per second, so in about 4 seconds it's cleared a football field, I need binoculars just to race my car 😂 and God forbid it flips, hold tight I need to walk the field again

    new subscriber. great video. regarding that side of the cars body hitting the power button, my first thought is I would consider using a concave cap from a water bottle and mount on top of the power button to prevent it from being touched. I ordered this truck last year. Hope I attain it some day. I highly recommend that all avoid ordering from "tower Hobbies" I know I do regret having done so. thus far at least. Hope I receive what i ordered in the near future. Best wishes n happy trails.

      Yea I’ve thought about either moving the power button or what could I use to protect it .
      And yes I’ve heard bad things about horizon/tower hobbies
      They are all over the place , ever since those 2 merged together it’s been hectic
      Anyways good luck to you and thanks for the sub 👍

      Damn! I’d be cancelling my order and just going to my LHS! Show those little shops some love guys, they’re the ones who can make tracks pop up and keep parts in your area!

    Did u have to take out the receiver box to control the new transmitter

      Sorry if I’m not sure what your saying
      But
      The factory ESC was like 2 in 1 setup
      So I did remove it
      To install my 100 amp ESC and Spektrum receiver , to bind to my DX5C transmitter
      Hope that helps

      They are 1/10th scale Proline Badlands 2.8” MT tires
      They go right on with 14mm hex adapters

    Have you tuned the shocks or left them stock? I guess the stock tires weren’t happy with the brushless power! 😂

      Awesome video! My Gorgon on brushless rips! I did put 500cst in the shocks & it helped tremendously on landings

      @@332_RCdoes it like to roll over more with that weight oil? Does it still lean like it did stock? The way it leans on the stock setup is awesome, you can really see the suspension working

    • @332_RC
      @332_RC 2 месяца назад

      @V8chump it still leans in the front. I swapped the rear to Senton shocks. Probably going to swap the front too

    • @332_RC
      @332_RC 2 месяца назад

      @@V8chump doesn't lean as bad w 500 in the front. The Senton rear shocks work great. Stiffer springs. Used completely stock Senton shocks.

    What are your motor temps after a typical session?

    • @mikeshoup7122
      @mikeshoup7122  7 месяцев назад +1

      Of course it’s gonna vary
      How hard I run it or size of pinion gear
      Usually gets up to 140 or 145
      But
      Never had ESC to cut out from over heating , or burn up a motor
      when I run it for like 10 or 15 mins
      Not yet anyways
