Tymon missing the timer stop on his first solve actually meant he didn't win. You can see if you go through frame by frame has his hand is on the timer at 6.08 except his right hand is touching the back of the timer instead of the pad. This would of then made his counting times a 6.08 a 4.76 and a 5.00 leading to a 5.28 average, 0.03 faster the Max's 5.31

Awesome recap. I was so lucky to end up sitting right in the middle at the front. It was riveting, mainly the final showdown. I thought Yiheng had it for sure. He just pops out so many 4's like it's nothing. I don't understand how he can do it with such small hands. Like Li was really cute and impressive too. It's crazy how many young (mostly Chinese) upcoming cubers there are. I feel like there should be an over-12s or over-18s division to give older people like me a chance!

If I was Yiheng, that moment would be my worst moment ever. I'm okay losing by .5 second difference. Or even just .1 second. But losing by .01 seconds is very painful. I remember when I went to a story-telling competition and lost to the first place by just 2 points. I was very frustrated.
But again, I'm not him, he's not me. He still did great tho. I don't think I'll ever reach that level in cubing.

Hey cube master, this is a bit off topic but can you remake some sq-1 tutorials? They're red to follow due to you flipping the cube a lot, cutting the video often without mentioning it, and doing algorithims too fast without showing them on screen, I know you're the only real one who teaches sq-1, and I'm hoping to get better honestly
