It's pointless to make predictions these days. Unless the ranking at worlds becomes average of all solves in the 4 rounds. Screw up one solve and you're pretty much done in the final
@@kenbrunet6120 ik right one mistake can change the whole thing max's counting 7s hurt him badly and felix just didnt do good cuz his hands were shanking
Juliette Sébastien but you still did a great job especially getting 3rd in OH. And also aren‘t you like the first female person to get into worlds 3x3 finals?
It would have been more epic than the competitors were presented with the anthem of their country. Whatever, it was great to see them go into action once again
They are very prominent, and well known.. there are other great cubers, but lets say, whne you are new to cubing two people you will get to know are them.
I agree. That being said, I also think the top cubers are so close that a lot of them have potential to win individual competitions like this, and a single average of 5 doesn't do a good enough job anymore establishing the best of the best. That being said, I think larger averages would take too long for competitions. It's a strange predicament.
Two Roux Solvers opposite each other. One gets the best single in the finals and one gets an average that earns him a tight second place. If I were a Roux Solver I'd still have nothing to do with it. :D Jokes aside. Phenomenal achievement. What better advertisement for the method than that?
Congrats Phillip (Lewicki) on making it to worlds finals u did well, hopefully next worlds u might be able to podium? And congrats to the worlds podium

I might be wrong but I believe that was the last solve of the competition, so after that everyone would know who won and who didn't. With very tight times, it was very possible for Max to win it all. I think it was a mix of "I can't believe Max didn't podium" and "Yay I'm happy for whatever other guy i was cheering for who won".
In WCA comps the best and worst times are removed when calculating the “average of 5”. So it’s really the average of the middle three: (7.26+6.24+6.73)/3 = 6.74

35.83/5 = 7.16667
