Hi, Brian, My complaint for LG was that they didn't make a 55" for this model. It's like saying we'll let Hisense lead the way that with that size with every thing it has to offer with the U8N. The LG QNED 85T is made with edge lighting to make it thinner but edge lighting doesn't compare to Full Array Local Dimming which the U8N does have.

I’m really glad that all companies are starting to pay more attention to mini LED TVs. I think they are on the rise. I think the better mini LEDs are able to compete with OLED as far as black levels go. No none of them compete an OLED for black levels, but let’s be honest all leads are still dim. I purchased a Sony.8 80 k OLED TV and I absolutely hated it. It was so dim and that’s worth the brightness and vivid mode. It was horrible. It was actually to me on watchable.
