You are my absolute favorite.I love that you narrate and you have such a great disposition and don't say negative comments about the previous owners because I feel that nobody knows what type of situation these people were in and why their home was left this way or how much of it is vandals.Thank you for the great videos
Wow, you've been busy, haha!! Thanks for the sweet comment along with your subscription! I'm glad you discovered my channel and are enjoying my videos! I have more to come! :)
Oh you're very welcome! I live in Southern Germany right now and have come across so many old neat houses that are abandoned and want to explore them so badly! I look forward to watching more of your explorations :).
It might not be "Copper Thieves" some Const. Co. remove the copper before demolishing the house. Hope this helps. ie That may be why the worker was in the back.
I would love to see what some of these houses would look like when fixed up. I bet they would be beautiful. What a shame it is the condition they end up in.
Love watching your abandoned houses. Your very easy to listen too. Like the details ya show. Love old farm houses and the ones with old graves are very interesting
Yes, like Buddy Light mentioned, the lines on the vinyl floor seem like shadows of the lines buried for radiant electric heat...but... to have gotten so hot they scorched the floor is very surprising. Did not know that was even possible. Maybe something shorted out when all the electricity copper was ripped out of walls. The brick work is classy and a charming.touch. Thanks for the tour, Pam. The bunny was almost convinced to be your pet.
Hi Jackie! Yes, it was definitely raccoon poop. Much smaller than human. Here, bungalows and ranches would be considered one level. Because this one had an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom, it wouldn't be considered as such. Thanks for commenting and watching!
I am so glad I discovered your channel! I think I have watched all your videos now in the past three days, haha. I love you and your explorations so much, totally addicted!! :)
Really awesome video! You must have started worrying when that truck pulled up and then had that turn into a feeling of relief when he had no problem with you at all and actually let you have at the place! It's always much more fun when the feeling of tension from getting caught is lifted somewhat. But, the tension of potentially getting caught is all part of the adventure. EXCELLENT and entertaining video!
The marks on the floor look like there was radiant flooring heating. It is possible that some one ripped up the floor and the tubing for salvage. The windows you refer to as skylights are dormer style windows. This house was truly picked through for salvage materials. Such good condition the fireplace upstairs. Looks new.
Yes! It was a little unnerving to see him pull up, but as it turned out, he didn't care at all. As a matter of fact, he was taking little bits off of the house for himself and told me of some other homes in the area, but I had already taken video of them.
Another amazing tour tiki; there must be a very skinny Raccoon running around the property, he left a uniformed load in the middle of the floor; the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful; it must have been a nice place to live at one time
Radiant heat in the floor had a serious overheating problem. Raccoon's must have been eating well but for the most part had their s* * t together! Must have been a really nice home at one time. Thanks Tiki, I enjoyed it.
It seems there is a lot of houses being torn down all over the place to make way for highways. If they tear everything down, where then will the roads lead to? This house seems really sturdy. If it had been renovated it could have been very nice.
I THOUGHT YOU HAD ANOTHER Channel i was subscribed too that wasn't this one!! Lol sorry to yell at you, just got a bit excited, I was thinking the same thing last night when i found this!!! THANK YOU for coming back and making videos for us
Nice place it must have bin, good struckture and achitecture, yard with nice big trees.. But like always copper thiefs demolished walls and sealings.. oops, upstairs that poop all over the floor .. .Respect, that it did 'nt stop you from filming.. Great exploring and a nice video Tiki.. greetz, from your Dutch fan.
If i was filming that guy would have run my butt off....Buuttttt you just got right in there. Hmmm wonder how you managed that ?lol would love to see a video of you smooth talking . And see your sparkling personality in action .. Must be that awesome smile and eyes .. Hehehe. Another great video accomplished. 😬
My pleasure, Walker. I know that gives the illusion of a person, but it is one of those lines ripped in the drywall with a piece of insulation hanging in front of it :)
At 7:10 or so, where you made the comment "something burnt", you were looking at the remnants of tubing for a heated floor. I suppose it got wet and the color bled out if it.
Thanks for sharing your brilliant footage again with us. Are you sure that was racoon poop? It just seems strange how there was one big pile. Well whatever poop it was it looked disgusting. The upstairs didn't seem so big. Was it a bungalow? Or I guess you guys call them ranches? Jackie Carle from across the pond.
looks like it was an amazing house when it was built(assuming late 70's early 80's by the style) great video, watched it 3 times to catch it all, oh .ahem.."im not going dumpster diving in there today" ok ..soooo where are the vids of you dumpster diving at other times? ;) thank you for the post Tiki :)
Not been in that area but have been to other parts of Canada.Loved NS and NB and want to go back to Halifax someday. Also loved one area near the village of Pugwash.:)
the burned lines in the floor, was a mal functioning floor heater, usually done with forced hot water,, but some used electric,,, it overheated,, and presto, pop art, was a sweet house at one time,, darn vandals,, thanks Tiki
The sign said Raccoon city,,its more like Raccoon shitty. That was a weird shaped house.I bet it was nice to get the ok to explore, glad it was a nice guy willing to let you in.Thanx for the awsome video.
Agree it is in floor heating in that one room, but why it has bled through like that no clue. The steam type is plastic tubing, which would not rust, and would never get hot enough to burn. Electric would be copper or some type of resistive electrical element and I believe low voltage so again would not get that hot (Construction people correct me please if I am wrong) but to me it is a hmmmmmmm?
Also, just curious if you know Pam (or one of your subscribers) what the electric wiring code is in CAN? Specifically, I see the wires ripped from outlets/switches (copper thieves) to ceilings, etc. In Michigan at least I know from probably the 70's to present, all wiring in wals must be stapled (with large wire staples) to the studs in the wall. 6" from boxes and then every 24" along its run. Hence, ripping the wire out by hand would be nearly impossible. Is done to keep wires from being loose and rubbing anything, or being hit by nails into walls.
definitly late 70's early 80's design. Slope roof, high ceilings, rectangular windows beautiful land. I am sure the owners received a fortune in selling it.
another good video that would of been a nice house if the owner had kelp it up I know I was going to buy another house I had got to the lawyers office and the onwer called and said someone had ripped all the wiring out after I had looked it over the day before it really sucks that people do that kind of things for a few bucks good job you do ty
What makes a house out of date? According to HGTV, anything that is not fresh out of the box, is dated. It just seems so trite, are arched doorways in or out? What about skylights or back splashes? As far as I'm concerned, if it's a matter of safety or function there's probably a valid point. But if the avocado green bean bag chair is still comfy, enjoy LOL!
Yep Racoon city or make that Racoon Sewer..About 20 years ago my Parents had a Racoon Problem in their attic and their urine and feces totally destroyed the Ceilings so they obviously had to be ripped out and replaced.
Rather than vandals, don't you think the home has been stripped because of demolishing? That's salvage, and most houses are stripped for salvage before they're torn down. Vandals yes, but the houses are stripped by salvage companies. At least where I am from that's how it works. ;)
Yes, I agree. :) This place was demolished shortly after, and the guy that was there, was doing some harvesting of his own. You would never know there was a house there now.
You are my absolute favorite.I love that you narrate and you have such a great disposition and don't say negative comments about the previous owners because I feel that nobody knows what type of situation these people were in and why their home was left this way or how much of it is vandals.Thank you for the great videos
socal1967 And thank you for the kind words!
socal1967 just love theses videos
Wow, you've been busy, haha!! Thanks for the sweet comment along with your subscription! I'm glad you discovered my channel and are enjoying my videos! I have more to come! :)
Thank you! I'm glad you found my new channel!
Great video Tikitrex! Still on my video "tiki" marathon! Now I've got my mom watching too! Two abandoned house junkies :)
Haha! Enjoy! :)
Me and my mum are into it as well! I was watching abandoned house vids and found she had been doing so as well. I introduced her to this channel.
Racoon City sounds like a 'Resident Evil' reference lol.
Great find! It still sad that so many houses are gone. Thanks for sharing.
I don't go in if the doors are blocked or locked. I also don't enter if there are "no trespassing" signs posted.
I have a new hobby. Exploring abandoned places (on RUclips of course) Thank you for making it possible!
I think the lines burned on the floor in the entry way are from under floor heating, maybe?
Tammy Noranzyk I’m pretty sure
Oh you're very welcome! I live in Southern Germany right now and have come across so many old neat houses that are abandoned and want to explore them so badly! I look forward to watching more of your explorations :).
You really do such great walk throughs. Even racoon messes. You do a great job. Appreciate all your work. Cali
The land for this house is really pretty even though it hasn't been maintained for awhile.
I really enjoy your pacing and commentary. It's surprising to me you don't have more views.
Love watching your abandoned houses. Your very easy to listen too. Like the details ya show. Love old farm houses and the ones with old graves are very interesting

cool place you found here. Surprise you didn't want to go for a swim in the basement haha. Great Video Tiki
I hate the word: DEMOLISHED. So glad you made a video before it happened.
Hi Jackie! Yes, it was definitely raccoon poop. Much smaller than human. Here, bungalows and ranches would be considered one level. Because this one had an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom, it wouldn't be considered as such. Thanks for commenting and watching!

The raccoons had a party and didn't invite us. Damn!

+Frank Poindexter LOL! Thanks for making my day again, Frank! Have a good one!
Haha! It was deep enough, you definitely could. Perhaps I could have brought a kayak with me to explore it. Thanks, Steve!
My pleasure, Walker. I know that gives the illusion of a person, but it is one of those lines ripped in the drywall with a piece of insulation hanging in front of it :)
Awesome house, awesome land, awesome porch, awesome vibe, awesome video!!!!!
LOL City of London? Obviously not the one here in the UK :P Another great video from you. Nice house too, such a waste that it was flattened!
Loved the fireplaces and brick work.
This seems like it was a newer construction home! I can't believe it was abandoned. I'm shocked by some of these homes you video.
I am glad to see you're back.

Oh man I thought you were getting busted there for a minute! Great video! Again, thank you for sharing, you're "da Bomb"! (It's good lol).
I love the 1960s and 1970s style houses
Love your videos
You do a great job thanks so much for sharing decay at its finest!!!
Those lines that show on the vinyl floor at 7:56 look like there from a type of electric radiant floor heat.
Good feeling to have permission.. Good video
At very first look, the house didn't look that old but as you went through you could tell it was older and out of date.
the burned lines in the floor, was a mal functioning floor heater, usually done with forced hot water,, but some used electric,,, it overheated,, and presto, pop art, was a sweet house at one time,, darn vandals,, thanks Tiki

Who's on the other side of the curtain ????? I hope it was a mirror, and not a ghost, thanks for the video Pam
The burn marks you saw appear to be from a floor heating system.....
Yes, it is.
It looks like they stripped out a heated floor under the tile. Probably a scrapper.
i love that fireplace
ahem..."...or any day for that matter." LOL! Thanks, Moo Cow! :)
They took everything but the commode. Lol
Think it is old infloor heating under that floring ware the burns are on the floor
definitly late 70's early 80's design. Slope roof, high ceilings, rectangular windows beautiful land. I am sure the owners received a fortune in selling it.
Thanks TikiTrex
I'm a little upset that its getting torn down. God dam it but its worth it if the copper is gone.
Another porch enclosed for rec room. That is why there are cement steps and big drop from the house and brick arch’s
very nice house
PS. Also that't why the Trim, vents, ect. is missing. They resell it too.
that looked it was a nice house at one time
Raccoon city.... Nice resident evil reference there....
At least you pan relatively slowly to allow us to see.
7:05 its the Floor Heating pipes under the linoleum.
Eu gostei muito dos seus vídeos, parabéns,um abraço pra voçê,eu moro aqui no Brasil♡♥
A house like that in the right location would be worth $500000.
