I have spent DAYS looking a RUclips drill press tables. This is by far the most innovative.
Thank you!!
Such a cool design! Also it’s that a marking and measuring pouch 😉
Thanks buddy! Haha yup!! It's so handy. Still figuring out what to keep in. Hopefully one day I'll have it as dialed as yours
This is a very unique design and I love it!! So much so that I have altered my design to include your dust collection. This has to be a first on YT with the stainless mesh and its nice to see a new innovator who thinks outside the box!
I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful!
Wow man, really great design! Looks nice AND looks super functional!
Thanks Ethan! Glad you like it
Very interesting to me, an honest project without all the trash talk, keep up the good work! Unique approach!
Thanks David! We keep it clean here
thanks for sharing those tips and the make!
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it
I’m planning to build a better table for my drill press. I may opt for an overlay table for metal working because I don’t do much metal. Your DC works great in all directions since chips seem to go everywhere when drilling and not just at the fence. Currently I have 2 DC hoses plumbed to my table and they’re ok when I use them, minus a bunch of setup positioning and extra clamping. But then, if it’s just a handful of 1/8” holes, I don’t even bother turning DC on. Thanks for posting
I saw this type for the first time.
It is amazing!
Thank you! Glad you like it
Best idea I’ve seen
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
I just stumbled across your video. This is genius!!! After 2 year when you published the video is there anything you would change? How did the stainless mesh hold up?
There are a few changes I would make. I would route the dust collection out the side rather than the back and eliminate one of the drawers. The drill press post gets in the way of the port/hose. The stainless mesh is holding up great but sometimes it slips off the screws that hold it up. Not sure what the solution is there though
@@JTWoodworks thanks so much, I am going to build one!
Awesome! I have plans available on my website if you're interested. They don't have the modifications I mentioned though
@@JTWoodworks thx! Actually I have a different design in mind. I already have a fence. Your dust collection idea is very innovative!
