I wonder how annoying having those cranks in the front may become over time?
Very clever leveling setup. And I have had a plywood table before with a drawer and angle feature on top. Turned more heavy than I liked. And it had a square replaceable insert. I didn't like messing with it. A bigger full width insert seems like it would be easier.

Love this video - great thinking moving the table controls to the front without having to us 90 degree bevel gears. Bonus point for making the tramming / levelling feature - as they say, if you can't make it perfect, make it adjustable! 10 stars out of 5! Very clear what you were doing once we saw it installed. Words not necessary. Keep up the great work!

Today that amount of plywood would cost more than your drill press...lol. Very cool! I look forward to using some of this on my own setup once the price of plywood goes down:)

      Hobbies cost ... ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯
But this product requires only a small amount of plywood. It is true that plywood prices have risen. For example, last September the price of 15x1220x2440mm Finnish (1st quality) birch plywood was 47.00 € / piece. Today 30% more ...

      There's enough plywood to sink a battleship😂.

This new age instruction without talking is pure BS!!!!! As soon as I realize the videographer is not going to tell me what they are doing and WHY, I turn them off and give them a THUMBS DOWN!!! Too bad I can't give them a THOUSAND thumbs down.

Thanks for the comment, I’ll be happy to give you a lot of thumbs up for that 👍 x 1000.
Too bad when I couldn't to make such a clear video without narration, so that you could figure out how and why the different steps are done.

@@OSPuupaja On the positive side: I forwarded to after the cutting up part and saw what you were going to produce. I don't feel the need to passively watch the video the way you the producer chose to make it. Great ideas and lateral thinking demonstrated. I could make it all from workshop scraps and hardware I have without spending and money. I happen to have a second, small drill press for metalwork. So building a dedicated woodworking table makes sense when you quite simply overcome the challenges as you have done. I do hope you start posting again. Regards from New Zealand
