I hate to see people struggle, but it does bring me some joy when things like that bolt happen to their people too! Great video!

Great video, informative. I’d take rotors to a lath, by using a hand grinder you start loosing the center of rotor since stud holes are bigger, thus can cause uneven pad wear or vibration.. Keep in mind in 1969 all fasteners were not metric. You kept saying 24mm, 14mm, 16,18mm etc…

Great video! Love the content, trying to get my 69 Camaro roadworthy again as well, I did the same brembo swap but with the 4 pistons, can’t wait to see the wheels!

Hey bro seems like ur really knowledgeable in these calipers. I have a 6th gen ZL1 6 piston brembo calipers. So if i wanna utilize those brake calipers i would have to replace the rotor hats from a 1LE model to make it work ??

Hey there! So I know you can use the ZL1 Calipers, but the only way I know is to swap to a ridetech spindle and c7 style hub. I’m not 100% sure but I think the ss 1LE hats are different than the zl1 and won’t swap over.

6th Gen ZL1 rotors have a 2.40 hat depth. The rotor he's using has a 2.010 hat depth. If you use the 6th gen ZL1 caliper and 15.35 rotor, the rotor will pushed close to the car and won't allow the rotor to mount. You have several routes from here. Bigbrakeupgrade sells a modified CPP knuckle (stock ride height) and Ridetech drop Knuckle. Expect to pay around $1200 for this setup. It will also push the caliper closer to the car and you might not need a spacer for your rims. The other option is to buy the rotor hat that he's using. You can buy C7 , 5th gen ZL1, CTSV2 rotor hats. That may cost anywhere from $100-400 Your other option is taking the hat off your rotor and flipping it around. That's the cheapest option and you will have to shim the caliper which will push it out by 1-2mm.

Links to all parts are in the description, and I’m going with 18/19 but I can’t say all 18s would fit!
