    Just came back here to tell you that it worked like a charm I'm a alley mechanic been working on this thing 5 days watched your video and did it and it cranked right up

    Thanks. I also had a 2004 PT Cruiser touring edition with this exact problem and you solved it!
    Note, in your video, and in my car, the fuse was in the 4th spot from the left, not the 3rd. And mine was a yellow 20 amp fuse.

    awesome h ad the same problem this morning. went to start the car and no crank. stepped away from it for the day and came home and started surfing. ran across your video fast. just checked the fuse and it was blown. Would buy u a beer if I could. thx

      fixed one issue now I'm chasing down p0499 and p0522 I backed into the car port it was running fine I did the diy gas gage ground fix and blew that FA fuse some how- I was getting ready to order crap i didn't need lol one guy was saying it was the PCM i didn't know any better but it made sense because I had just did the self code check and it was cool after ground wire try to read codes again nothing no done no code- anyways thanks again!
