this is so nice! i have already done 2 tops inspired by this dress but i sort of struggled with the straps, this is so much better! i'll be doing it like this next time!
Hello! Just want to say your videos are so amazing and inspiring. I learned how to crochet through your videos earlier this year. I intern for a non-profit specializing in teaching vulnerable women around the world. One of our locations is Tanzania and I talk to the local leader of our non-profit frequently. I am going with a group to Tanzania to finally meet her face to face and the rest of the girls she takes care of. After learning to crochet through your videos, I started crocheting the girls headbands that they can use when farming. I chose a particular material that is more breathable for them. After showing the local leader the progress, she got excited and brought up the idea of having the girls learn to crochet and sell headbands and other items to financially support themselves! I will be teaching them how to crochet when I go to Tanzania later this year. I will definitely show them your videos because they have been so helpful! Thank you again! ❤️
This is my first ever crochet project and it looks perfect!! Thanks for introducing me to the wonderful world of crochet, as a knitter I'm stoked to be branching out :-)
Thank you so much for this video! Your instructions where great! I'm fairly new to crochet, and you made this so easy to understand. I've almost completed the dress! 😍
How would you say the sizing goes? Bc Ik u said Xs/small is 100 chains and so on for all the sizes but what measurements would u say correspond with each size(like for small what size waist) etc. or what are ur measurements so I can base mine off that.
This was an amazing tutorial, but I have one question. My cups always come out really round and pointy at the tip and I'm not sure how to make them more flat. Could you advise me if you know how to?
Hiii! thank you for letting me know it was helpful! :) I'm not sure if I understand what you mean but here is my advice! Make sure you are going into the middle stitch when you increase ( it is very easy to mess this up, i even do it sometimes) please feel free to email me mainmadecrochet@gmail.com OR dm me on Instagram or twitter @mainmaincrochet and I can help you in detail. you can send me photos of where you are at in the project! I would love to help clear things up
thank you, I love your video! combining the cups and straps make it look so good!! I am such a beginner so I was wondering if there was something I could do to lessen the holes/gaps so the dress isn't so see-through? Would a different stitch work for this for e.g. hdc? or change the yarn or needle size? I would love to make this dress but I'm so clueless aha
Hi I’m not very familiar with those terms. Crochet is typically very stretchy, so I believe there would be negative ease. It should fit snug and have a healthy amount of stretch. I don’t use seam allowance or ease particularly when it come to crochet. I myself prefer to drape or try it on as I go or refer to the measurements I take in the beginning
Hii girl, i’m still working on the dress but your video is so helpful :). Sometimes it’s a little hard because I’m from the Netherlands so I have to translate everything in my head. I got a question: how do I make the dress tighter for my waist? Do I have to go through two holes at a time or how does it work. I would love for you the response ❤️
thank you so much, I love each and every Single tutorial. You are making my summer wardrobe so beautiful :) , and do you plan to upload the selena jumpsuit tutorial? That would be magnificent💚💚💚
Hi this is an amazing tutorial! Thank you :)). Do you think it'll be possible for me to turn this dress into a two piece? Will the skirt stay up on its own, as is, or do I need to add something else to make it more secure?
You can make a long chain and use it as a drawstring by weaving it in and out of the waistline ☺️ If you check out my Cable Skirt tutorial on my channel I show you how ! ❤️
Yes you can use single crochet! ☺️ It would change the shape of the cup and would take longer if you want the same coverage/similar look. It would not be more difficult, considering you do not struggle with single crochet I have a video showing how to make a cup out of single crochet if you’d like to see what it would look like check it out here: ruclips.net/video/FG-fDnB4FdA/видео.html 🧶
@@durgakarthik4816 my pleasure!! please feel free to reach out on Instagram if you ever need more detailed help. You can dm photos and I would be more than happy to look at projects you need help with ( even not related to my videos) ☺️🧶
Hi! I love this tutorial but the dress failed for me. Do you know why my dress ended up in a triangular shape near the increase? (Not sure if that made sense sorry!)
Hi ☺️ It took me about a day. If you had a free weekend and are an intermediate/advanced crocheter you could for sure complete it in the 2 days ☺️ Bare in mind this is without taking long breaks. A more reasonable time would be a week considering you have other responsibilities 🤍☺️
Hola no hablo tú idioma pero me encanto él tutoríal muy bien explicado pero tengo una pregunta usted le pone elástico en la parte de la espalda al terminar el vestido

The straps is such a good way of doing it, I'd never have thought of this and it makes them secure! Thank you for the tutorial

I know what u mean! I think if I crochet with a little looser tension it normally flattens out, but my cups are very pointy as well!

I’ve found that using a hook a size smaller than the yarn recommends helps with holes/gaps in the project.
Thanks for the tutorial. 💜💜💜I made this one today but not in this color.
Wonderful! 🤭
Hi
How much positiv ease do you Go with ? Do the dress fits tight or loose ?

I loved the video!!
How long it took for you to make it?
I mixed up waist and hip measurement, realised it 11 rows in, don't want to restart and now I freestyle and pray.
I'll update when I finish lol

How did you make the cup?
Which part exactly do you need help with?
hiii can u do a video of finger knit a short top please the crochet is a bit difficult but with fingers more easier tysm have a nice day
hiii, are you asking for a tutorial on how make a bralette /bra top? If i figure it out i will for sure film it! :)
Bra top if u can do it it will really save me
how much yarn did you use for every color?
You don’t need much I used weight 4 yarn, 3g skiens and I didn’t finish any of them
I don't understand how much. Because in Europe usually one skein of yarn is 50g or 100g (grams). 3g is for making 100 chains 🤣
How do you make it less deep cut I don’t want to show half my chest
you can stitch some of the double crochets in the center together with single crochet, does that make sense?
What size yarn do you use?
Weight 4 ☺️
make me one
What colours do you want? 😎
Hi!shat size is this??
Muchas gracias
Youre welcome 🤗
