He did say he was learning, don't put someone down for trying to learn a new thing!! Keep at it man! You got this don't let horrible people put you down!
There is a trick from the plastic recorder world that might work for the plastic ocarinas. The spit or vapor condensation does not build up if you spray a soap and water solution, then let to dry. When the vapor tries to condense, the soap disperses it.
good review, as an ocarina of player myself who has gotten good feedback on my playing, keep a steady control on your breath pressure, it really, really helps the tone, only blow harder if you want a sharp note and softer for a flat note, keep up the good work! :-)
about 12000 years ago. The ocarina's origins can be traced back to many different cultures. In South andCentral America, the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas all developed and performed on clay ocarinas which were often shaped like birds or animals.
I loled so hard about the amount of "emotion" i the video LOL but, besides that, it wasnt bad at all But yes, look at the camera, smile, if you can get better cmaera and mic, practice voice acting and try to make your audience happy. Remember they need to feel the urge to stay here, neither they or you are forced to stay on this
I have both the Bravura ocarina and the Osawa ocarina. The Osawa ocarina I have is red, and the Bravura is green. I also have a DragonTooth, and my gosh, it's so beautiful...! The metallic shine in the light, all the colors... Those three ocarinas are also my first Songbird ocarinas, and I got them for Christmas in 2020. I also have a bunch of other ocarinas, most of which are from STL Ocarina (I have their 12 hole ceramic Zelda ocarina, the Brio in orange, and the four lower pitched Element ocarinas, to name a few). Although I really want the Songbird 12 hole Zelda ocarina to compare to the STL one I have, since the Songbird is a bit more expensive than the STL ($108 for Songbird vs $50 for STL), however the price is that way because the Songbird Zelda ocarina has actual platinum on the ring where the Triforce is, which is cooler than the STL version which just has the Triforce ring painted on...
Yeah, but most of us got to know about the ocarina from Zelda, and speaking of which, I'm a huge fan! So much that my profile picture has actual Zelda font for my username xD

when you got the ocarina from songbird, did you get the book free of charge?
Would you say this is better than stl's plastic 12 hole?

Sorry for the huge wall of text. It's just that I love ocarinas!
You don't have to be a fan of Zelda games to like the instrument

It sounds out of tune
Nah he's just very beginner
It's likely because he hasn't had time to develop his breath pressure, these ocarinas are pretty good
DUde! you are cool and all.. but please please learn to play that thing first.. then make a video review.. jesus..
Plastic sounds awful....
Rurouni-senpai nothing to do with plastic, he's just a beginner. Look at a proper showcase of this occasion and it sounds good.
Thanks for the review!
