I have had several people they have never delt with a leak. It's just about looking over the RV before use and make sure when constructed you check all the seams.
Thank you so very much for this detailed and thorough video. It was immensely helpful! I am trying to decide between a scout and a scout lite. I am leaning more towards this one now because I don't really need air conditioning and really dislike the way it looks/stick outs on the lite model and the storage space configuration seems much more limited on the lite model as well.. I realize this video is from a while ago but if you see this, do you think a reliance hassock dry toilet would sit under the couch bed when unfolded? The diameter is 15 inches round and the height is pretty short at 14 inches. Thank you so much!
That bed is slightly smaller than a queen, front is like a twin. You won’t use the table for the front…..there are wood slats on the front wall below table to use. We have a 2021 scout park model…1400lbs. dry weight….maybe just over 2000 loaded ready to go. Note we keep coolers inside tow vehicle because accessing it in camper you have to pop the top a little. We pulled ours from Indiana to Yellowstone Park with our 2016 Jeep Cherokee (with tow package) and it was a pleasant ride. Could run the speed limit everywhere comfortably. We went to Mt. Rushmore S.D. last year with our 2008 Jeep wrangler 2 door with tow rating of 2000lbs. Did fine but would recommend 4 door. Could do 65-70 comfortably as shot wheel base Jeep would have been trouble if emergency stop or maneuver was needed. Have trailer brakes on trailer so that is a big plus…not sure about the smaller trailers? Caution recommended for sure for any towing.
1500 Lbs dry weight is not good, by the time you put stuff in it or on the tongue is well above 2,000 Lbs. Our 2002 Scout had a placarded weight of 895 Lbs, but runs at around 1850 Lbs for a 3 week trip. the 895 excluded, liquids, propane, batteries, spare tire etc.
no...this is 1500lbs empty weight. Load it up with some gear/water for traveling and it'd be heavier. You need a tow-vehicle with a higher capacity, at least 3000-3500lbs -- like a Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco, or some other mid-size SUV with at least that capacity. Mid-size trucks can tow double that usually. Ideally, you want to avoid being near or at maximum towing-capacity, you should try to be well below it -- like following the "no more than 80% of max-capacity" rule if possible. I have a mid-size truck that can tow 7000lbs...but I still want my camper/trailer to be WAY BELOW that weight. Good luck, -- BR
I love this RV. Perfect for a mini mobile office
The aliner scout has come quite a ways. I really like what I saw in your video
it would be even nicer if they made an A from that wouldn't leak. In rainy weather, they are notorious for leaking.

No mention of bed size - true Double / queen etc or by measurement

It does not has screen covers on the windows so you'll have to deal with all the mosquitos and bugs unless you have AC on all the time.
It does have screen covers. Just not on the front door.
The door is an easy fix: Aldi. 10.00. Magnet door screen.
These are very minimalistic trailers so don't expect all the creature comforts!

Can 2 people sleep on the couch when it’s turned into a bed
How much money? Thank you
This one is $17,494!
Price
Not sure.
@@UberAdventures101That much. Huh?
Phez?
Yep it's me. 😂
Need air!
Where's the toilet?
This model doesn't have one. But we have 2 models that do.
Portable one could be used….we put ours where table is at night. A long shower rod with curtain gives a little privacy.
