Hi. Wondering if u can help. Having an issue with the main cursor on my Inkscape main working screen when clicking on the square or circle icon etc on left side, as it changes to a shape cursor with a + sign next to it and whenever I create the shape its really faded. Not sure what I've pressed or done to change that and how to undo or reset it? I tried turning off and on the laptop on my Mac but its still the same when I open up Inkscape. Pls help. Has anyone else had this issue that may be able to help? if u have an email address I can send u a picture of what's happening as it prob will be easier to understand what I mean. Thanks

Hi, i did suffer with that part as well... this worked for me: 1) the rectangle has to be red, with grey outliner 2) all the nodes has to be joint 3) before the division, I combined all the fox (path / combined) 4) rectengle at the bottom of the layer, fox outline at the first. 5) first select the fox, then the rectangle -> path/devision I hope it will work for you as well :)
C est parfait on a vu que vous savez le faire, en revanche pour ceux qui veulent apprendre, on a pas le temps de voir ou vous cliquez et il n y a pas d aide vocale. Dommage

2. Convert strokes to paths (Ctrl+Alt+C).
