I bottom fish quite a bit so I'm sitting still most of the time. The tackle box I used to use would fit in a 5 gallon bucket. When I got to where I was going to fish I'd take the tackle box out, turn the bucket over, and I've got a great seat. If you bottom fish and want a prop for your fishing rod, I use the wire frames from yard signs. I don't steal them from yards, but I asked some candidates after the last election and had several stuck in the garage for when I need them.
I had a smaller back pack and bought the one u showed in the video on a whim. Got it today, super comfortable and it didn’t show the tackle boxes in the picture that I purchased it from but it came with 3 and I was a little happier… lol… thanks for the video… my son is happy too bc he gets my old one haha…
Bag set up is nice! Basically what I do. The rods are a little different for me. I bring three a 7’3 heavy bait caster, 7’3 Medium Heavy bait caster, and a 7’ medium spinning rod.
I gut got two Lew's Xfinity size 30 spinning reel and medium fast orange for Bass Reilly like them. I've used the Lew's Xfinity size 10 reel medium light rod in the yellow combo from Walmart for trout fishing year ago not one complaint about it. I got other rods but Lew's Xfinity is smooth working or the Lew's LZR pro combo 👊🏼
I'm a bank fisherman just getting into the bass fishing aspect. And yeah, carrying around a big hard tackle box all day sucks. So a tackle bag and 2-4 plano boxes are awesome. I'm thinking of getting a bag I just don't know which one yet, but yours is pretty nice. Also, for 50 bucks I don't think you can beat it. So I'll be downsizing into something similar, thanks for the awesome tips man! Just earned yourself a new subscriber! Keep up the great work, and I honestly thought this was a super well done and professional video, so let's get those subs rolling in, you deserve so many more!
nice set up. i've started also using a fanny pack to carry a tiny box that holds a few hooks and lures, pliers, scale, grippers, bag of plastics etc. its nice to be able to wander off from your main bag and not have to go running back to it whenever you need something. fanny packs arent cool but they work lol.
That’s actually a really good idea haha. Maybe I’ll try it out. I already walk around with a camera strapped to my chest so what’s a Fanny pack at that point lol. Thanks for watching buddy.
I started bank fishing with the same size canvas backpack but since my lake is a mile away on dirt and gravel road, began to downsize. I also began to take only my best best three jigs, lures, spoons etc. . I minimalized on everything. I wore warm outerwear which I could ball up and insert into my small nylon backpack and not canvass which is heavy and gets heavier when wet. I left all of my "what if" gear in my truck, in most cases the "what if" gear was never needed on a one day fishing outing. on multi day fishing trips on a different lake your set up would work great. Getting old sucks.
Great tips on bank fishing!!! Organization and packing lite is definitely a key in being successful while bank fishing. I use to be one of those guy that took 5 or 6 rods bookbag and a carry bag while bank fishing but I learned better now lol. Keep doing what your doing brother!!! And thanks for sharing
Just wondering are you able to put all the links where you bought them at like lures, your backpack, all the sizes of the weights/hooks/lures. So then I can buy everything that I have.
@@ReelHookSetOutdoors I have so many predator birds around. The fish are scared to hit open top water. They will get brave in vegetation, but I only have one pond that has that.
Be careful keeping your spinner baits in that binder. I had mine in that exact one and it stained the bags. I moeved my to a spinner bait box and then if I know Im going to throw them I will toss it in a Plano box.

Haven’t tried the LZR but I’ve heard good things. My Xfinity is still going strong! Thanks for watching!
Good video

What kind of wrap do you have on your lews spinning rod handle and reel?
It’s the wynn grips that come on them

Was shocked to see no spinnerbaits!
Your right, I should have included them!
You must have a lot more luck on top water than I do. Most of my bag would be jigs and soft plastics. 😂
I don’t always have luck lol I just enjoy fishing topwater

@@savedbygraceoutdoors that makes sense. I’ve had on Osprey pick my fish up while hooked. I can imagine they get skittish in those scenarios.
