Actually it is very important to show how the back foot gives that shove. I have not found any videos on youtube amongst all the tutorial that really show how the back foot shoves. How you jump off of it - could you may be do a detailed and diagramed video on just the back foot alone. It is all in the back foot with this trick.

Guys , flick with your back foot going straight back. If you flick it back then sideways in one motion, then the board will fly away .

if you flick the board instead of kicking it (move it fast at a reasonable speed instead of just fast) it should stay closer
Ulysses Moore my shuvs keep over spinning so i'm trying 360 shuvs instead..less of a problem...but i have to jump even further
