BBR 120 big bore kit review for my honda xr 100r. this kit is pretty easy to install with basic knolage of motors and tools. I have a older xr 100 and recently installed this kit. This kit is far cheaper then a stock rebuild. The thing is these bikes do not make much power so a 2 HP gain actually a good percent of increase. I have a stock exhaust and carb for now, but my bike now pulls power wheelies in first and second gear! We had the cylinder head ported and jetted the bike and that made as big of a difference as the big bore kit did. I cant wait to get a larger carburetor and upgraded clutch springs.

Heard you can stick a XR 80 cylinder head and 2 gasket to a XR 100 gives it more power

I’m also 185lbs and just got a CRF100F for playing around with on the trails. How do you like the BBR springs for the suspension? I need stiffer springs and want to order them, but want your opinion since we are the same weight, thanks!
