- Can you convert DJI Mini 4 pro to an FPV drone? Can you convert DJI Mini 3 Pro to become an FPV Drone? Can you only fly FPV style with DJI Avata 2 and other FPV drones, or will the DJI Mini 4 pro be able to double as an FPV style drone?

I chased a Black Bear today with my Mini 4 Pro & Goggles 2... it's awesome, I fly full on FPV drones too, but this with the motion controller is great.
Nice video again! Remember, when flying with goggles, you always need an observer!

Hey, I have all of them! I already had a Mini 3, and a Mini 4 Pro, a month ago added the Avata 2 Fly More kit! Enjoying them all. Was going to initially fly the Mini 4 with the goggles apprehensive about the goggles/controller setup. Ended up flying Avata in garage for a week, then went outside. 14+ flights with Avata is so awesome. Now want to try the Mini 4 primarily because of the obstacle avoidance like you just talked about. Can’t wait, and your video is still playing while you fly! Thanks for the great posts!

Guessing you still have to change that camera FPV setting on the Mini 4 Pro to FPV in order for it to look like that don't you? Or does just using the Goggle 3 and the Motion Controller 3 make it fly in that way? Cheers.
No, you don’t change any setting to FPV 🥳 the goggles does the trick.
@@MK-Creator Ah okay thanks. Was thinking that the camera would still self right itself if the setting wasn't changed. Did you try with the FPV camera setting turned on at all? Just wondering if that would make it even more FPV like? Cheers!
@MarkBowenPiano there is no such setting in the menu you get when the drone is connected to the goggles. The setting is depending on the controller it’s connected to.

Anyone have any idea how I could buy a drone? For two years I have been in debt that determines my life, and for the next two years it will not change. Photography and small travels are the only things I have left...
If you are in the US, I would say try Acima Leasing, you can lease a drone or any other device in Best Buy until you own it. Basically make a down payment ($50) and make bi weekly payments.
I highly advise against this if you cannot allow it, and also be mindful that you would need to pay everything in 90 days to avoid those horrendous fees, example if a drone cost $1200, after 90 days you will end up paying $3000
So what about just buying the hand controller and viewing the flight path on the regular RC controller. That would save buying the Goggles? Is this possible?
