In the first Catwoman DLC, the image of Batman carrying the Joker was used as an Easter egg/foreshadow with Two-Face’s portrait of Cain and Abel.
It's the other way around. Cain and Abel foreshadow Batman and Joker.
Everybody HAS to know that.
I don't think that was part of the dlc
I've always found this painting/ foreshadowing interesting because cain killed Abel. That means cain is the one carrying Abel and batman is carrying joker. Does this mean that joker was the favored one and batman is the evil one? Also admittedly I may just be reading to much into this
The shark repellent joke would have been perfect for a battle with King Shark.

In the boss fight with Joker in detective mode you can't see his bones because it's clay face, a clue that it wasn't the real Joker.
When Arkham City was revealed in an issue of Game Informer I’m sure it was announced that ‘turf wars’ were going to be a thing, rather than Penguin, Two face & joker thugs all staying in their stipulated areas they would break out into fights & claim different areas of the map
Lewis Harry yeh that happens. two face takes over penguins territory at the museum . penguin takes over mr. Freeze’ territory. riddler takes the church from Harley Quinn/joker. joker blows up the bridge while they’re fighting, to take jokers territory. joker takes over two faces territory, where the theatre is, and there’s fights between gangs that are happening throughout the story, and there’s some others, I can’t think of, at the top of my head
Actually, it was Penguin who blew up the bridges.
XRider09 I was under the impression from the arkham city forums (I was glued to that forum at the time) that it was going to be adaptive and constantly changing so it would make you change your approach on different playthrough’s & beyond finishing the story. I know with rocksteady allot gets left on the cutting room floor.
Following my cutting room floor comment.. my biggest thing is in Arkham Asylum.. you see GCPD dead, bullet holes in the walls surrounding the corpse, but no blood? - blood was cut so they could keep the rating from being M for mature. I feel this is a shame, it would have increased the feeling of a real threat within the asylum... I’d love to see a directors cut one day.

In Arkham City if you get eaten by the shark, doesn't wanna the prompts when you are reloading from a previous save say 'Should have used Shark Repellent' or did I just imagine that?

The Shark Repellent Joke was added in the game, if you Die to Tiny one of the helpful tips will tell you to use the shark repellent, and then describe said repellent as a fury of strikes
I remember the marketing campaign for Arkham Knight heavily emphasizing that the Arkham Knight ISN'T Jason Todd. Die hard Batman fans already made spot on guesses when the character was announced and even pictures of Red Hood action figures appeared along side the toy series for Arkham Knight before the game was even released.
No one was fooled when the truth was revealed. But personally, I've always though that it would be the ultimate plot twist if Red Hood was his own character and Arkham Knight was actually Anarky from Arkham Origins. Now all grown up since Origins and also another character with a grudge against Batman, NO ONE will see it coming if at the very last minute Red Hood crashes in to intervene between Batman and Arkham Knight.
They said that Arkham Knight was a new character but under the make might be someone familiar so I saw theories ranging from joker survived to warden sharp from asylum it was when the red hood dlc was announced as a pre-order that gave it away for me and I played it before finishing the main story and looked at his mask the fact it is Arkham knights but red was what sealed the deal for me and as I was in party chat ruined it for my friend lol they should have just gave him the name red hood and made it obvious to comic fans as the hints about Jason being dead are in the games before hand more city than anything I'd like a definite timeline of when he died though
The funny thing is Red Hood as the Arkham Knight could have worked with a better story.
Imagine if the identity of the Arkham Knight was revealed at a very early point in the game instead of building it up.
This would create an unexpected twist in the story and now the question would be 'how'
Since Jason wasn't in the previous games Arkham Knight could have focused more on his story, instead of forcing it with random hallucinations which spoiled the final twist.
Having played through the entire series. I have to say the Mr. Freeze’s story is my favorite part of the series hands down .

That was really cool. Also, if you pressed the Right Analog Stick to see him, he will do that whole swipe-the-sword-on the ground-to-disappear thing.
I just restarted the game, and noticed that you don't even have to look for him - when Bruce gets knocked to the ground, his view swings past that rooftop corner for a moment, and you can see him.
Surprised that he didn’t mention that you could find Bruce Wayne’s parents crime scene and pay your respects

@@Euruk1 Totally forgot about Batman Returns on the SNES. That actually was better than the first Batman game on the NES.. But of course they all were great because they were made by Konami (when they were still great)
I thought the teaser of jokers death at the start in the painting was quite fun.
In Arkham knight I found in the gcpd building there is mock wanted posters of the devs on a notice board just before jack ryder’s study room. Love the amount of Easter eggs and references there are in these games!👍😁

Thanks, man! Arkham City is one of my favorite games. For some reason, I never made the connection that the guy taunting you in the beginning is Deadshot. Thanks for pointing that out. The "Lost" references in the game just crack me up! "How come it all ended in a church?"
I do like that Batman's dialogue with Bane when discussing the Titan side mission can vary if you happen to have already destroyed at least one canister, and/or if you've already beaten Penguin's titan thug.
Please do this for the rest of the Arkham Series! Really enjoyed this video!

Mark and Kevin’s dynamic as the Joker and Batman are the greatest of any franchise. Batman the Animated Series struck absolute gold when they signed them

There actually is a reference to the shark repellent in the game. If you get killed by Tiny in the Iceberg Lounge while you're trying to save the GCPD officers and defeat Penguin, the game over tip will actually mention using the Shark Repellent
Now this seems to be a series for the Arkham games don’t be sleeping on origins, Overhated and underrated it deserves a shout in the series
I liked both games about the same (and Arkham Knight too, to be honest), but Asylum was the one that engrossed me the most. I've played Asylum 2 or 3 times to my once with City and Knight, and completing all the Riddler challenges/trophies was something I actually looked forward to in Asylum (I felt these were bloated unnecessarily in City/Knight, aka I haven't finished them...yet). That said, I much prefer the grappling in City than I do in Asylum.

Asylum was always my favourite, I’m playing City again now though after 100%ing Asylum for the first time and I can’t deny that the amount of content in City is just about perfect. There’s always something to do and nearly all of it feels worthwhile (as soon as I get to 400 Riddler trophies though, I’m out - some are horrendous). I think Asylum still has the edge with its atmosphere though
Robin and nightwing in the main story would’ve been something else 😍

I enjoyed all the sequels but Arkham city is still my favorite and idk it's something about it that just felt good to be batman
CIty is the best in the series imo. Asylum and its awesome atmosphere and story make it a VERY close second. Knight was a bit of a let down for me. The Batmobile was way over done from not only the out of place tank battles, but also seemingly any puzzle needing it in order to progress. I also did not like the change in art style.

One of the greatest gaming masterpieces of all time, me and my dad loves this game.
It lowkey makes me happy knowing that I put in a lot of hours in Arkham City to actually know half of the topics mentioned on this list.

I remember waiting in line at midnight to pick up one of the early release copies, then taking the next day off work and playing it all day.
This is one of my top 5 games of all time.

I love all FOUR games but Asylum is my personal favorite.
To me, comparing Arkham Asylum to Arkham City is like comparing Fallout and Fallout 2 to decide which is the better. In both cases, both are great games and complement each other fantastically. The first games tend to be a tad unpolished but have superb potential, while the second ones tend to be more polished and therefore be concretely superior games yet at the same time lack some of the potential from the first. Picking a winner would be like picking a favourite child in that sense.
Off topic: When I played Harley Quinn's Revenge and was controlling Robin, I accidentally threw one of the goons in the tunnel into the water and as a response to this happening, some weird sound typically signaling a failure of some sort was triggered. To this day, this has perplexed me and I am unsure of what to make of it and if it really did happen. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know anything about it? If it helps, I played on Xbox 360.

I like Asylum due to it being the 1st game, creepy soundtrack, erie setting, just shows the horrors Batman deals with, and all those easter eggs

My first thought too. .it makes sense. .dont forget that all these gamimg channels on youtube ( at least the biggest ones ) are just marketing outlets/tools for the coorperations that own them. The timing that they choose to promote/talk about certain games are not accidental. They are strategically and meticulously planned beforehand.

If you get killed by the shark, the loading screen references the need for some shark repellant.
If you are fast enough to meet Deadshot at the beginning of the story, the name “Will Smith” will be on the screen as one of the credits which is pretty cool lol
Arkham City is the best game of the series in my opinion. I love how you get to play as Catwoman and Batman and see that you get to see both sides of the story in a way to see what kind of mischief Catwoman is up too when the Dark Knight is busy!
I had fun playing Arkham City. So I enjoyed the environment more than the storyline in Arkham Knight. I hardly miss any of the Easter eggs.

The one thing I hated about the arkham games is THE GODDAMN RIDDLER TROPIES. I HATE THE FACT YOU NEED TROPIES TO EVEN COMPLETE ARKHAM KNIGHT CUTSCENE
