It is about time U.S. consumers get a chance to save money! 👍 Verizon & the other big carriers have kind of forced us to buy Apple & Samsung because there hasn't been many other choices. If OnePlus is made available it will give these other companies some real competition.

Well, as a Verizon rep I'd say you're wrong. We carry the Moto Z3 play, which is only $480 and has a lot of these same specs. We also have the Motorola G6 which has some of these same specs. We are also getting the Hydrogen phone next month. Verizon carries a lot of budget phones with good specs. You just have to ask. Plus we have some on the website. Samsung, Apple, & Google pay big money for advertising. It's not the company's fault. It's the manufacturers who don't want to make their phones compatible for our Network. We are getting the Razer phone 2 on Verizon this year.
Actually.. Apple's own iPhone XR has better: 1. Faster SoC 2. Faster Graphics 3. Better Rear Camera 4. Better front camera 5. Secure Face ID 6. Louder Speakers 7. Better Battery life 8. Supports more carriers 9. Better customer service 10. Longer and faster software support 11. iOS SOftware 12. Wireless charging And to be honest Apple's display on the XR looks just as good as the OnePlus 6

Stupid reasoning by oneplus to remove headphone jack... How samsung was able to squeeze in a S-Pen,4000 mah battery with headphone jack Also, Continuous use of Bluetooth would lead to fast battery drainage
I had the 1+1. What a fabulous device, especially for its price! I didn't buy a OP device after it, since they followed other companies and gradually increased their prices with each model release. @@user-os8sq3uh4n I'm just going to point out the fact that I've never had an apple phone and I own a OnePlus 5t right now and I got made fun of a bit, I was being called cheap/broke. My brotha I know that OnePlus be higher quality than Honor. So yes I decided to use "Chinese sounding" phones and I am semi-experienced with them. Though I can say that Honor isn't exactly "trash" I just wanted to show that it ain't the same quality brother.
It's really not a big deal. In the year I've had a phone without a headphone jack, I've never once had to charge the phone at the exact time I was listening to music. I think it's just something people are complaining about without actually experiencing it.
TBH smartphones as a whole are getting more unappealing to me. Looking back at phones from a few years ago there were much more diverse options. Nowadays they're all the same, and there's nothing that I feel like buying. Back in 2013, we had the choice of things like the Galaxy s4, the HTC One M7 , Nexus 5, the Moto X and the iPhone 5s. Different phones were actually, you know, different from each other back then. Since 2016 they've started to become more and more boring and removing features, hell maybe it started in 2015 with the Galaxy s6.
I think we'll see phones converge into a fullscreen notchless rectangle in the next years, just like TVs. And the iPhone X iterations will move from having one of the highest display ratios, from one of the worst, due to them keeping the (relatively) thick bezels and notch. We're already watching the chinese phones showing the trend. But ironically, this will be what makes iPhones feel different from the competition, just like the round home button on the past.
So damn true, it's why I haven't upgraded my V20. At this point I think I'm just holding on to it until it turns to dust. I miss the days when every phone maker would try to be different instead of just trying to be like Apple.

@@ImInYourBrains I know. All the tech is moving toward Bluetooth anyways. You still have your dongle for legacy products but right now I find myself using my Bluetooth headphones with my one plus 6 rather than my wired ones which "technically" have better audio. It's just more convenient.
@@deejnutz2068 , That's just the line that OnePlus is peddling to it's consumers. The real reason is that this design is an OPPO engineered design. That particular OPPO product wasn't designed to accommodate a headphone jack, so it would have been very difficult to add one to this. Effectively it's cost saving, so they didn't have to design a completely standalone phone for the Oneplus (OPPO is the parent company, and a OnePlus is effectively an OPPO phone by a different label).
OnePlus surveyed their users and 59% already used bluetooth headphones. Made this an easy decision to drop the jack for a bigger battery and a behind the glass fingerprint sensor. They sell some pretty great bluetooth earbuds at an affordable price, too.
Hey Marques, I recently purchased a OnePlus 6T after watching a few reviews and doing my own research. Immediate response was good; you get quite a bit for the price you pay, but of course its at a cost of no expandable media or 3.5mm jack. Having said that, I bought the phone with 128GB of storage and that's plenty in my opinion, given you can upload photos to a cloud provider to free up space. The look and feel is nice, I also like the finger and face unlock. Coming from a Galaxy S5 (yes I know a bit dated) the transition was fairly smooth with built in Google and OnePlus tools, where in all of my photos and data was migrated to the new phone. Would recommend for anyone looking to get a new mainstream smartphone with all the nice specs that the big players like Google and Samsung currently have. Cheers

Another mobile phone released.
Another headphone jack deceased

Most people don’t pack a dslr with them or know how to use one

Who comes this video after Oneplus 7 Pro released 😂
Me, curved display in the 7 Pro and the price of the 6T has me wanting the 6T.
Watching after the one plus 8 release😂 one plus 6t is very affordable now
Rip the headphone jack 😭😭
Funny how they didn't even come close to mentioning that, even I missed that!
what bullshit reason. note 9 even have a spen and 4000mah battery while still able to have a headphone jack.
I mean its not that really bad losing a headphone jack
And the notification led
lololol lolool what so you mean, I have to carry multiple dongles because I need one for an iPhone and also for a USB-C
My family still owns 3 OnePlus One phones from 2014. Zero issues. They make great phones and I can highly recommend.
Yeah, my 1+3 still is same as brand new after 2 years
OnePlus have finally Settled.
Not really. Sacrificing the headphone jack for a bigger battery and finger print scanner makes sense to me. It was a trade-off, not settling.
@@deejnutz2068 when I bought a moto play first gen that regularly lasted me two days, I ended up getting quickly frustrated with every other phone that didnt last as long. The headphone jack for a bigger battery? Yes, please.
Hey Marques,
I recently purchased a OnePlus 6T after watching a few reviews and doing my own research.
Cheers
