The Jadeite grease jar sparked some nostalgia. Raise your hand if you grew up at a time when mothers kept a grease jar on the stove (most had a strainer). My mom poured off and reused grease and oil over and over and over again. I can't understand how we all didn't die from old bacon, pork chop, and fried chicken grease, and I never did it in my own kitchen as an adult, but man, I'm not gonna lie, it made the food taste so much better. Old bacon grease and the risk of death were a heck of a seasoning, I guess.
A few years back I used buttons from my Grandma’s button box to make flower bouquets for my cousins and their children - used salt shakers.
When you change your direction you get a whole new perspective!!
My favorite thing on this video is the blue & white dinner plates.
So I looked up those glasses, they are Libbey mcm and worth about $150 set of 8.
I LOVED this shopping trip!
The green cake plate❤ Just like my mother had. It was broken in a move when my mom tripped over a curb while carrying it. She was okay no injury I’m happy to say but we were both upset her cake plate was shattered. I still remember the plate it was one of my favorites.
Oh, you definitely scored on some great stuff! This was so fun. I hope you keep that spaghetti cat for yourself, even just for a little while:)
I never use to like going to antique malls until I started watching your videos now that’s all I want to go to!
That spaghetti cat was everything!
That cat was amazing. Love to see you shop in this store -- so much quieter background
WOW what a haul!! I'm going crazy over here over the Italian kitty & the Bill Campbell oil lamp! 😍😍
I saw so many beautiful items, but that Spaghetti Cat is to die for.
Am I the only one who has an attack when you pass up those Hens-on-a nest ?
I make the single shaker button bouquet out of my grandmother’s vintage buttons . ❤
Crazing in humans is like wrinkles with age. It definitely doesn't bother me either. 🦋🌻
Funniest moment is telling a cat to stay =]
Oh goodness, the cat I absolutely love! You got some great things! The trip was a winner!

You definitely need to keep a black light on you, and then remember that there's actually a lot of white glass that glows. When you were in Bedford, one shelf you showed had a 1930s World's Fair vinegar bottle. They look like milk glass, but glow very bright. Not worth a ton (~$30), but are very much in demand by collectors. Plus the black light can help with your crystal pieces, as lead will glow blue under it.
